    Hello Stephanie, I made two, one for me I just finished, and one for my son but with less lenght and we found it amazing. My son who doesn't care about wearing hats, he's all the time wearing it outside and at home too. He's 6 . Thank you very much for the way you share your work, you explain. I'd learn alot from you. I wish you all the best

    Ms Zed, I’m watching video again. And I’ve made two of these hats. I used yarn from hobby lobby called yarn bee. It’s Low Pill. I’ve gotten so many compliments on the hat. I tell them where I got the pattern and give your name so they can find it. Thank you very much for this tutorial.

    • @StephanieZed
      @StephanieZed  5 лет назад

      Thank you for the compliment. I showed this to my cousins children, who are in their 20's, who have never crocheted before. They loved it so much that they are learning to crochet and are on their 3rd and 4th hats. They are making beautiful colour combinations using pinks and cream. Also, a smaller pom pom changes the look as well. Keep crocheting!!

    Love this hat and I plan on making it for a man,should I increase the size?

    • @StephanieZed
      @StephanieZed  5 лет назад

      It would depend on how loose or tight your tension is. After you make the rim, just give it a stretch to see. The pattern is not a tight fit. If you do increase, be sure to increase by 3's so the pattern in the grey part will work. Good Luck

    Awesome Tutorial, Stephanie !!--- quick question - for the last 2 rows, (19:34) do we still slip stitch to join and continue to chain 2 to begin the next rows ?

    • @StephanieZed
      @StephanieZed  5 лет назад +1

      I did, but at that point, it really doesn’t matter, you can do it either way!

    Hi Stephanie, if we count the chain three you made when you began the row of gray, but slip stitch into the very first dc not the ch3 won’t we end up with less than 60 stitches? Because in essence aren’t we skipping the ch 3 then? Thanks I’d appreciate your input.

    • @StephanieZed
      @StephanieZed  4 года назад +1

      Hi. As long as you are divisible by 3, the pattern will work. You can adjust this in the second row of grey. 😊
