I suspect she has anorexia and is in a very serious health crisis. If she is resistant to help she may have been forced into care, but is not responding well.
It was reported that an ambulance was sent to the palace on Dec 28th she may have suffered something that is life threatening and resulted in her being forced into treatment.
Anorexia is dangerous and very difficult to treat.

Kids are impatient so they probably just took the best shots that they could get of them and put it together. So what? At least the children are REAL. Ok this is my theory. That ambulance, Kate was in there ok. Because William got rose pregnant, Kate found out and accused him. Either William hurt her, or Kate had a mini stroke. Now kate recovered from either that stroke or getting punched by William, now she’s hiding somewhere I think a mental hospital with her kids. That’s why we haven’t seen them either. Now Kate doesn’t know what to do, since she doesn’t actually have custody over her own kids, search it up. When you’re married to a royal your kids belong to the sovereign. A break from what? If you total up the number of hours Kate works per year it hardly amounts to a month's work. She and William do the least number of engagements of any of the royals including the elderly members.
My guess is that William wants a divorce so he can marry Rose Hanbury. Kate refuses to divorce because her mother worked way too hard for this and her parents are bankrupt. Kate was never sick because there would be leaks from nurses, even anonymously. Also if she was in a coma. Her kids would throw a temper if they hadn't seen their mother for so long and talk or cry about it in school. Also her sister is enjoying a nice vacation in the carribean. That's something you wouldn't do if your sister was seriously sick or in a coma. I think she's hiding from the public because the media softlaunches the divorce (hence the recent articles about Rose Hanbury). And that's why she simply doesn't want to do any public engagements. William doesn't know how to handle her absence and the public interest into her absence. So he threw her under the bus with the fake photo and apology. To be continued I guess.

My first thought when I heard she had "abdominal surgery" was uterine prolapse. After all, she had 3 kids in an extremely short time. All it takes is stage 3 or 4 tearing on that second or third pregnancy to fuck up her body completely. And of course, the royals would never announce such a thing so they would euphemize it as "abdominal surgery" and then cover it up. Or maybe she had a late-stage miscarriage or medical abortion on a fourth pregnancy due to previous damage. HRH Prince William should offer an olive branch to his brother and his wife to help with Royal duties.
I still say that she had a pregnancy gone wrong and either miscarried or had an abortion in order to protect her life. Just a month or two before Catherine 'disappeared' she and William both dropped hints of 'baby #4'. And everyone knows how much Catherine wanted to have another child. With all the difficulties she had with her other children, I think this may be the cause. And if so she is not only dealing with the physical trauma of going through something like that, but also the emotional, mental, & spiritual trauma of losing a child. It would also explain William's desire to stay by her side throughout all of this and his reluctance to go back to public duties. If he just lost a child he may be fearful of also losing his wife.
I've heard lots of rumors of their marriage being unstable, but I have to say I personally have never picked up on that vibe. They both seem to truly love one another and enjoy their time together. Even more so when the children are with them.
I say everyone should leave Catherine alone and let her heal.
