I absolutely love the Courtesan of a Nation Arc. Easily my favorite serious arc of Gintama. It has comedy, epic fight scenes, it has my favorite characters (tsukuyo, nobume and Oboro, one of my favorites villians in the series). And the ending(won't spoil it) is so heartbreaking but so sweet .
People usually say SA arc or FS are the best, but this one changed the anime plot to a more serious one and the battles were amazing, I can't decide which one is the best or my favorite.

One of the reasons I love this op is because of Ikkoku Kensei, that arc is my fav, Suzuran and Maizo’s story has made me cry over and over again, also also we learned more about Gin-Chan, this anime has changed my life in only 3 months, thank you, Baka Gorilla

Silhouette, Sign, Diver, Guren and Blood Circulator are better openings (and That's just Shippuden) -Touch Off was cool but the problem with it (and almost every UVERworld anisong) is the full version is miles better than opening version -Shinzou wo Sasagyo was just a song for the sake of being an anime song/opening (and probably an attempt of catching the success of Guren no Yumiya, which they actually did surpass GnY in terms of popularity. Respectable but still doesn't change the point) And I don't go searching for "Top [number] /Best Anime Openings" or "[Title] Anime Opening/s [Number]" on RUclips, I actually support the Artists/Bands/Groups behind these Anisongs and even check out their other works that aren't even related to Anime. Im not over with gintama yet, i just finished the beam sword arc. Honestly, this is one of the best anime opening i've ever seen. Leave alone the lyrics and music, i think the intro with sakuras, and then gintoki Kagura and Shinpachi watching the moon rising is what makes this opening so great.
