I listen to Ihsahn a lot and I know that he has a great clean voice, but I'm honestly surprised how well it fits that blues-rock music, now I need more blues with Ihsahn's vocals.
Ihsahn sounds like axel rose on sweet child of mine with those high notes that have texture in them. Love the solo! The year of black metal musicians gaining recognition.

I didn't mean to say he sounded like he was impersonating him, lol. But after re-reading my comment... I can see where I sewed seeds of confusion. I'm a huge Ihsahn/emperor fan and a Nergal/behemoth fan. I'm also a drummer in a emperor (others also) inspired black metal band. Maybe that's why I'm focusing in on it and hearing it that way. Don’t become obsessed with the bleak desert that exists on this plane. On this plane that we perceive, there is nothing but decay. don’t be nihilistic.the blues are ever present and extend to the abyss. Don’t fall into this American trap. The dark hole is seductive and exerts a constant pull, but I always thought that your beautiful artistry could lift me out of the desert sun that I was born into. Don’t become trapped. Remember thine roots.

@@dynamo4543 lol what? Have you heard his latest EP Telemark? Especially song Stridig? It's black metal, he experiments a lot (which I really like, classic black metal is meh for me), true, but still plays black metal. His latest album Ámr is also mostly black metal.
