@@TheComicBookReport Priest is well worth checking out! It’s a pretty demanding comic that you gotta pay attention to but it’s got some brilliant writing too
Thor by simonson, F4 by mark waid, new X-men grant morrison, astonishing X-men, JLA grant Morrison, Aquaman Geoff Johns, JJ:Alias, Frank miller and klaus janson DD omni, spider-man Roger stern, captain America by mark waid, all deserve honorable mentions or a spot over a few like gwenpool on this list.
Other 1 and done omnis Id recommend are: Thor by Walt Simonson Spiderman vol 1 by Lee and Kirby The Demon by Kirby The Creeper by Ditko Planetary by Ellis and Cassidsy Cable / Deadpool
Those are some good choices for one and done omnibus. I still never read Donny Cates Venom, Spider man by Chip Zdarsky, the Grayson series by Tom King. I only read most of Secret Warriors a decade ago about and Ultimates 1 vol. I don't have too many omni hardcovers. All of my omnibus books are volumes of a sequential title, like vol 1, 2, etc. I'm trying to think of some omnibus with one sole volume that I read and like a lot. Yes. I'll name a few. I love the Immortal Iron Fist run by matt fraction and ed brubaker. I have the softcover trades of that series but I know that it's collected entirely in one Omnibus volume. Terrific series. I need to buy that omni eventually. Another two that I love, that contain one volume only is ANNIHILATION [my favorite event story of all time, cosmic or otherwise] and PLANET HULK omni by Greg Pak.
@TheComicBookReport I can list a few more. Definitely Annihilation would be the one cosmic event from Marvel that is the best single Omnibus. Other ones that are great event omnis to have are War of Kings, House of M or the long out of print XMEN AGE OF APOCALYPSE omni which is one of my long time whales to catch, as you would say! A classic amazing Xmen saga. But it has been oop for 4 to 5 years! :( 😞 Also, some others that are in 1 volume for omnibus books that are great: Thor by Walt Simonson Young Avengers by Heinberg and Jim Cheung Alpha Flight by John Byrne Deadpool & Cable by Fabian Nicieza, etc Immortal Hulk by Al Ewing

There are a handful of writers who write that book but Christopher Hastings wrote a lot

@@lucasaraujo21 fair question:
In this context, collections that feel fairly
Self-contained or that is accessible to newer readers.
