And we are always grateful for the feedback we receive! All of you know exactly what you would like to see in GLM - and we'll always try our best to implement it. Greetings!
I hope one day Genelec can create speakers that are more affordable but only if it doesn’t detract from their ability to make the best studio monitors. I also respect that Genelec proudly makes a quality product in Finland. I hope one day I can visit Iisalmi. ❤ from 🇨🇦
Please put the minimize on the system tray function and the Minimize to tray on start function. This is the most urgent feature for the GLM for Windows program.
Cheers @@genelec - that helps a ton! Always nice to stay fully updated, even if the settings are already set for the studio. EDIT: Also nuts good support answering this in the middle of the night on a Friday. I'm pretty sure I would have survived until next week, so massive kudos on the quick reply.
pretty frustrating when youre (like me) an Neumann user. The Speakers are great sounding, but theyre so many years behind software-wise. Still think about to switch to Genelec. Not because of the ,,better,, sound, but for the whole ecosystem (different sized subwoofers) and dsp integration One question, is it possible to do Array solutions with the GLM / SAM based Subs ? As an Single or Double Bass Array wich the homecinema guys do, to have an even basswave through the the room and on the back of the room subs with an inverted signal
Hi! At the moment we don't support DBAs - it only works well with very symmetrical room shapes and setups. But we'll think about it for future releases for sure. Greetings!
The Power On and Off function is fantastic! My speakers are really hard to reach and this makes my life much easier! 2 questions: 1. Is it ok to turn the system on and off only using GLM and never use the physical power on off long term? 2. If using the new physical monitor controller does GlM software have to run in the background and can u power on off the system from the controller?
Thanks for the positive feedback! Yes, you can of course always use GLM to turn your system on and off. The 9320 can be used in standalone mode (similar to the GLM network adapter). You can then turn the system on and off together with the 9320, using its power button.
I'm sooo happy to see all of the features I requested in the new version.

So we can mute individual speakers through our streamdecks now? Omg this is amazing
Yes. We hoped that you might like this option. ;-)
@@genelec I havnt been able to figure out how to do this? is there a tutorial on how to set up stream deck with the new solo speaker function
Was there any change to calibration? that is, is there any reason to run calibration again after updating?
No change regarding calibration, so you don't have to re-do it. All the best!
Will I be able to still use the calibration done in GLM 4.2.2, or would I have to re-do it in GLM5?
You can open any setup file from version 4, just use File > Import. The calibration itself did not change, so you don't have to re-do it.

@@genelec Nice! I know the subs have On/Off switch, and it doesn't matter as long as it's turned off from GLM right?
@@Tlll123 Some of the models with the "traditional" power switch (no button) must be set to ON to make use of GLM's power features. Greetings!
Hi, can 9320 control the power on/off function of GLM 5.. I hope it can!
Yes, you can just use the power-button of the 9320! Greetings!
Kiitos !!
