Ive the Problem that i chill since months time at plat ranks.. hitted flip reset once but got safed. The most enemys call me smurf haha. Biggest Problem chilling AT this ranks is, i get no gamesense/speeed. My highest was dia, a year ago or something haha.
I'm silver and can wave dash, speed flip, air roll (i can't even air dribble tho lol), half flip, and sometimes go for a good clear pinch, but not usually
@@EasilySteezily yeah just flip cancel super slow so your nose faces the ground as you rotate. The last part as you spin and make contact with the ground looks like a speedflip zap dash so it should feel pretty similar if you can do that

The zap dash probably has the most promise. The wall dash just doesn't have the same utility around the entire field and it's also useful as a recovery mechanism.

@@jessethomas9676just focus on consistently placing the joystick perfectly at the 1 o’clock position (for right diagonal flips) and immediately down to the 7 o’clock position to flip cancel. Once you’re consistently doing that, the rest you need to worry about is how long you need to hold the flip cancel for and finish rolling onto your wheels with air roll. It sounds like a lot but it becomes muscle memory. If you want accuracy with speed flips, just remember where you point your front corner bumpers is where you’re going to be flipping. So during kickoff just before you start your speed flip turn your car upfield and speed flip in that direction.

@@Andrew-cs1td no, the zap dash is simply an advanced version of the wave dash. In order to execute a wave dash, you have to have at least one wheel on the ground and flip into the opposite direction of that wheel. The zap dash is a method of lifting your car in order to do a wave dash afterwards. The most commonly used kind of lift is when the two front wheels are on the ground, and you empty jump. That way the nose of the car will bounce up while the back of the car will get pressed on the ground so you can finish the movement with a wave dash. When doing a zap dash after a speed flip, your car may be slightly tilted to either side, in that case you do the same movement diagonal.

I mean I’m not wrong? This kickoff is old. We’ve known about the kickoff. Im guessing this is a “meta” video for golds and platinums so you can sell your class? We’ve known about two touch air dribbling for years. Like i said. Running out of content. Not that you don’t put great effort into your content but coming from a Gc trying to get into ssl and being the player base is getting better this is only a means of selling a class. Just refurbished content. I’m sure it helps people but I’m just upset with the way rocket league has changed for the worse
@spookluke for the kick offs, 1st mechanic, jump slightly earlier and hold down your jump button and meet the ball slightly higher and you will get much better 50s

you can connect the empty jump part with the zap dash -> you don't need to wave dash in order to gain speed while landing

If you are close to the ground and you have to turn down last second you may not have time to orient your car to where your nose is pointed up

A tip for empty jumping off the wall: you can use air roll to flip your car and use your second jump to go to the ground quicker without boost
