Why do I always have deep feelings about the middle ages when I hear this song? The lyrics don't exactly match up. but his rhythm and voice and instrumental really warp my mind. Watching Game of Thrones helps in creating a vivid world of the middle ages.
I love this song so much!!!! Check out this video: original song "Said the City" by Camille Plemmons. She's an incredible songwriter, and she's been majorly influenced by Born Ruffians.
I can see both sides of this fleet foxes argument. The melody in the verse instantly reminded me of fleet foxes' "oliver james," but it's definitely not a rip-off.
Adam C , Christopher Rutledge these bands all formed around the same time, ruffians in 2004 , foxes in 06 , of course they would have similar sounds specially being in the same genre
I notice alot of bands , from all different genres maybe a year or so apart makign similar sounds , its just what happens not bad and not always good but the more the better i say !
sapien82 i guess every band gets their inspiration from somewhere and what's currently popular they can figure out what music they want to make, wish music was more about the feeling though sometimes compared to the record sales!

Sounds like Fleet Foxes had kids with Coldplay's newest album
that doesn't mean I don't like it though
Thought they were Yeasayer first time I heard this.
Sounds like Fleet Foxes
ah shit this is amazing

Repeat!!!
This reminds me of something Pocahontas would sing, haha
When you think how this song plays through this comment is quite poetic.
my friends and i refer to this song as "bap badabadap" ...we have no clue what they're saying in the chorus
sounds like born ruffians
This sounds nothing like the Fleet Foxes...
I'm so confused
sounds like fleetfoxes fucking vampire weekend
Make you want to eat cereal and jam out.
Ally brought me here
Shite! wherzz the visuals? dial me up, I would do it for free!

Pandora.
Hear= head
Mmmm Luke
They totally don't worship Fleet Foxes. Not at all.
he sold by asos
dafuq is asos?
They don't sound very ruffian. More like ruffians after being molested by the groups- "fun" & "the shins".
I was thinking more on the lines of Oberhofer and Fleet Foxes.
Adam C , Christopher Rutledge these bands all formed around the same time, ruffians in 2004 , foxes in 06 , of course they would have similar sounds specially being in the same genre
sapien82 2 yrs apart isn't same time! but yh being in the same genre has something to do with it just the kind of music they make

Like the lyrics, don't like the sound. I miss the hooting and hollering that use to be the Born Ruffians. Sad.
biggest fleet foxes rip off ever
very good !!!
