the original bowl method didn’t use nearly as much water in the bowl before tiktok even existed. also raking the hair from the scalp before dunking the hair into the bowl helps with the flatness. the original bowl method was for even product distribution. janelle o Shaughnessy demonstrates the original bowl method. i forgot the original creater but it was someone on instagram and her post went viral years ago. i agree with you as this method works really well on low porosity hair but i find it the same as applying gel on soaking wet hair. but it’s a great technique for cohesive waves without brush styling. your results still look really good!
Your dog is so cute!! I tried this recently and didn't like my results at all. My hair was flat, frizzy and less defined (I usually do a quick brush style on my waves). It's also hard on the back. I was disappointed b/c the influencers who have done it had such great results. I thought your hair looked really great!
Thanks for showing this method! But I must say it is not a method my fine hair likes.😀 Can I just ask you how often you clarify, chelate and do mask treatments in a month? TIA😊🌺
I chelate or clarify once of twice a month. Which shampoo I use depends on how my hair feels and what my hair needs. I don't really use treatment masks a lot, only when my hair really needs it.
Ohhhhh boy. I know I am NOT awake enough yet to drive to work when it took my 2mins to realize this wasn't a video called "Viral Bowel Movement". I thought it would be like a detox video 😭😭😭
It looks really nice regardless. I always imagine this is a method that was used by our ancestors millenia ago. Makes sense. But for now, I'll be skipping this method.✌🏻💙🧜🏻♀️
