Great video. We are considering this resort for our next family vacation. My wife and I just returned from the Riu Republica adults only resort in Punta Cana. I highly recommend that resort as well.
Thank you so much for this very well done video! Do they offer a buffet for lunch and dinner as well as breakfast? Did you prefer the restaurants or the buffet if so? You also shared that you have stayed in both the family side and adults only. Which one did you prefer? Thank you so much!
Thank you for the support. The buffet is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We usually did the buffet for breakfast and restaurants for lunch and dinner, but I did catch a buffet for dinner and it did have good options the night I ate there. They rotate food items daily. I, personally, prefer the adults only side but would go over to the family side for some of the restaurants. Hope this helps.
Hey. I’m glad we were able to be helpful. I don’t remember the room number. For this particular stay, we were on the family side as the adults only side was being remodeled after the hurricane damage it sustained before our arrival. We have stayed on the adults only side in a previous stay at this Hilton.
we just came back from Hilton all inclusive playa Del Carmen and I are considering where to book next year’s vacation. I have a question do you feel like you received good value from the premium package? I mostly drink beer so the premium drinks are not that important to me. But could you tell a difference between say the pool or the beach? This is a nice and informative video.
Thank you for watching the video and I’m glad you found it helpful and informative. Next time I go I don’t think I would go would the deluxe room over premium. There isn’t really much difference in the room. The benefits of having a exclusive restaurant option for breakfast and lunch, access to a few extra brands of liquors, and access to the lounge isn’t really worth extra costs for it for me. There isn’t really a difference between pool and beach area for premium and the non-premium pools and beach. Might be just a few less people, that’s about it.
How would you rate the quality of the beach and sea? We just got back from Aruba and are looking for something with similar sand and clear turquoise waters. I know the Punta Cana side is the Atlantic ocean, with seaweed issues, and rougher, not as clear water.
Hey and thank you for watching the video. It’s been a while since I have been to Aruba, but based off my memory, I would say that the beach and sand are not as nice as Aruba, but is way better than the Punta Cana area hotels. You may run across a few strands of seaweed, but it wasn’t collecting on the beach. It would rate the La Romana beach around a 7 and Aruba around a 9-10.
@@destinationbrown Thank you for the reply, your video was very informative and nicely done ! We're more beach people than resort people, so the beaches and water are our primary focus. Aruba is nice, but it's become overcrowded and too expensive. The government is allowing too much building, which is destroying their small island IMO. The sargassum (seaweed) issue has been a problem in the Caribbean for a few years now, and if you time it wrong, or are just unlucky, it can really make for an ugly trip at the beach. I believe Punta Cana has been working on a project to prevent it from reaching the shores this spring and summer when it's at its worst. We were also thinking about Anguilla, which has some of the most pristine beaches and clear turquoise water in the world, but is also quite a bit more expensive than the DR. Have you ever been to Anguilla ?
Thank you for the kind words and we are glad you found it informative. We haven’t visited Anguilla as of yet, but I’ll add it to our list. Thank you for the suggestion.

The video I've been looking for! Thanks for the breakdown of Premium! 🙌🙌
Thanks for watching and we are glad the information was helpful.

I left Hilton La Romana a week ago and I miss it sooo much!!!😭
They definitely created a memorable experience for us.
Me and my husband left 3 days ago that beautiful Place 😢Great memories❤
Excellent video!
Thank you!
Buenos dias: si no tengo enclave puedo ir a los restaurantes? Que diferencia hay? Si trngo una premium solo
Buenos días. No estoy completamente seguro. Pero creo que todos los restaurantes aceptarán adultos.
Great video thanks! What room number did you have? And was it in the adults part of the hotel?

Nice work on the video do they have a night club on the property?
First, thank you for watching our video.
They don’t have a night club on site. They do have a casino and activities and performances at night.

The beach.....is not nice, and the water sometimes with plastic and seagrass.
Great Video
