Thanks for the review!!! Just received mine today. Had a special for 120.00 free shipping on Amazon earlier in the week. So I figured how can I not take a chance. Pleasantly surprised by how great this guitar is. Even with your review and other good reviews I was still skeptical. Mine arrived ready to play. Stays in tune great. Has a nice sound to it. Looks amazing!! When I plugged it into my Vox amp on clean channel it was distorting and cutting out. Sounded terrible. Then it was playing loud and "good" distortion. Then cutting out again. I replaced the battery and it works great. The battery was close to dead. I do not know how they made any money on this guitar. I own 39 guitars and this one is one of the best deals I have found. I picked up a real nice D'Angelico 12 string open box/B stock and a great D'Angelico 6 string acoustic B stock last week also. I do not know why they were listed as b stock because they are perfect!! Came new with tags, warranty cards. wrenches etc.. D'Angelico is putting out some quality affordable acoustics! (and electrics) Been playing for 40 years. You get WAY more guitar for your money than ever before. Thanks again for the in depth review!!! You were a big part of the reason I took a chance on this guitar. So glad I did!!!!!
@@TheDirtRoadLiars Just did. Nice!! Only problem is I have run out of room. 40 guitars as of today. Plus drum sets,keyboards,racks of equipment,recording equipment etc.
They say the action is low, is that true? I guess if I bought it for the slide I would have it set up I guess. Sounds really good, but I could get it to sound great with some copper wound reso strings. Thanks for doing this review.
It definitely needs some TLC out of the box. The action felt more like an electric guitar and there is some movement on the bridge. So I would recommend a set up
Thanks for your demo video. I've ALWAYS wanted a resinator guitar, I play 14 instruments acoustic and electric but never had a resonator and they can be very pricey. I believe the same Chinese company that makes the pyle resonator also makes the Musicians friend Rouge resonator guitar. The other thing I believe you can upgrade the cone or replace the cone / parts if needed as they are standard size. I plan to play my out live. Have a great weekend.

I bought one from Amazon and play it to this day and have no problem with it.
I got one I left it for 1 year the battery was still on and it worked fine and was in tune some how

It’s a good one. I actually have it at the beach now. I’m using it as my “beater” guitar

Only issue was the bridge still honestly I could file down probably
Did you have any issues with the pa sounds bought one for my husband after seeing the review and his is really static when hooked up
I did not have any issues with it. But with any electronic, there is a risk.
