@@80mtn Yes there is. Here you go for those interested. Band Maid was started in 2013 by Miku Kobato. At the time she had just left the Idol Group, Lil Cumin and she didn't like the type of music she had been performing. She approached her management agency with the idea of making an actual band playing rock music but dressed as maids. She had worked in a Maid Cafe and thought the image of maids playing rockin music would create what she called "The Gap" between what you see and what you hear. The Management company was like Ok, go ahead. Miku then looked around and found Kanami a singer/songwriter who was posting her own videos on the internet. Miku had her agency contact her and Kanami thought the idea was cool and agreed to join. Miku then asked if Kanami knew a drummer who might be interested. Kanami had worked with Akane in the past and there is 2 versions of this, the first is, Kanami literally walked over to Akane's apartment and asked her, the second is Kanami called Akane and asked her. (Akane has said in 2 different interviews that 1: Kanami called her and asked if she could come over and 2: in a second interview Kanami just came over) Akane was actually hesitant as she had worked in an "All Girl Group" before and didn't enjoy it as it wasn't the type of music she wanted to play. After hearing a Demo, Akane was like ok, but was still slightly hesitant because of the "Maid Outfits", but she agreed to give it a try. Akane was asked if she knew a bass player and she had gone to Tokyo School of Music with MISA and had worked a couple of jobs with her. So Misa was contacted and after she heard a demo she was like I like the music, but she also was hesitant about the "Maid Outfits", but she relented and joined in as she really wanted to play the kind of music she heard in the demo. The 3 of them then "Auditioned" for the record company and passed the audition. Now we have the "Core" members. The 4 members worked out some songs provided for them by the record company, and a setlist and they had performed 3 times with just Miku on main vocals. Miku after those performances felt that her voice wasn't powerful enough to really perform the songs she wanted. So she approached her management company again and asked if they had any singers who weren't in other projects. They then auditioned several singers. Miku heard Saiki rehearsing in a room across the hall and asked if she could be auditioned, the record company then had Saiki audition. Saiki was signed to the same management company and had done some work as a backup singer and dancer and was asked if she would be interested in auditioning for this new group which currently had 4 members and she would be the fifth. She had been a member of a group with 8 other people as a backup singer and dancer, and HATED it. So she listened to the demo and thought "Cool" because she liked the music. Now we come to the tricky part. Miku KNEW that if Saiki was told about the "Maid Outfits" she would say NO WAY!, so they didn't tell her. They told her they would have "Cool/cute Clothes"(I've read it translated either way), and she never met Miku until a few days before they had a contracted performance. She wasn't told about the "Maid Outfits" until the day before the performance, and she had considered backing out, but she had signed the contract. (Saiki also had NEVER met Miku until then as well) So the Ladies, went and did the performance and Saiki really, REALLY liked the crowds reaction and the music they were performing. She DIDN'T like the apron she wore so it got ditched after the first performance. And you now have the beginnings of the BEST LIVE HARD ROCK BAND in the WORLD! ALL HAIL BAND MAID!!!!! Now that we have the Full band, it was felt that there needed to be a second guitar. Saiki was like, "Not Me, No Way." So Miku said, "I'll do it.", at first that was literally all she did, was hold the guitar and mime playing it, until Akane said, if you are going to hold it, you NEED to learn to play it. And Miku said, "Ok.", and Kanami started to teach Miku how to play. The Ladies released their first album in 2014 "Maid in Japan" which failed to chart, but later after "Thrill" it was reissued and charted to #26 in Japan.
Then in 2015 they released "New Beginning" On New Beginning was the song that changed Band Maid's entire existence. "Thrill"... The band was getting ready to release their first music video and the choice was between "Love, Passion, Matador" and "Thrill" and the ladies chose Thrill. (Little known fact, Miku helped with the lyrics on Thrill but did not get credited) This became the seminal moment of Band Maid. Because their second album charted at #64, the record company was seriously considering disbanding the Ladies and switching them to other projects. (In fact they had Kanami and Akane work with Mochi to Cheese thinking that when Band Maid cratered they could use them in another band. MISA had also just started working with Mochi to Cheese as well). However about 6 months after the video's release, a Facebook page "JRock Radio" posted the video to their timeline. And the video went viral. Having over a million views in just a few short weeks. The Ladies Twitter page got so many hits they thought their page had been hacked. Their RUclips channel also started getting more and more subscribers and views to Thrill. Now the ladies knew where their fans wanted them to go. Harder Rock, less pop. And history was Maid. @@greylocke100 From Japan, a small revision When Miku consulted the agency, she said that she likes maids but wants to do cool music, and the agency asked her how about maids playing rock. Miku replied that it would be a good idea to mix it up. At that time, the agency had a stock of songs that could be provided to the new band.

Katriinka, welcome to the world of Band-Maid (and The Warning) During "Show Them", Saiki and Dany raised their vocal range to fit the temp of the song. This was a wonderful collaboration between two all-female bands that shouts "GIRL POWER!". The two bands have talked about doing another collab together in the future. They may be the new "power couple" in rock. Since Dany and Saiki's vocal ranges are normally lower, it behooves you to listen to their music separately. Dany has a lot of power behind her voice during the metal sound they use. "Automatic Sun" by The Warning is a suggestion for another reaction. Saiki, on the other hand, doesn't quite that lung and vocal power (he's had vocal cord surgery in the past so must be very careful) but her beautiful voice is still strong and has an emotional quality to her lyrics. A Band-Maid song I suggest you react to next is "Wonderland". It show Saiki's vocal range and emotive qualities.

It's actually Band-Maid with The Warning, not against 😉 Interesting to know, that both are singing in a higher pitch than they usually do. Composer Kanami, also lead guitarist of Band-Maid, did this on purpose to challenge them. I am SO excited to hear them in their "natural" sound now - especially after so many ocmments hinted that they sound VERY different from here. Thank you from Japan for BAND-MAID's reaction. This song was written by Kanami, the lead guitarist of BAND-MAID, and the data was exchanged between Mexico and Japan, which are on the other side of the world, to make revisions, and it was readjusted and recorded in one week that The Warning came to Japan. Kanami wanted to write a song that neither band had ever done before, so the two lead vocalists continue to sing at high notes that they have never hit before. The resulting song sounds like The Warning to BAND-MAID fans and sounds like BAND-MAID to The Warning fans. The performance makes use of the best of both bands.

But about Band-Maid Saiki the main singer and Miku (the little one with purple hair in the center) second singer will give you the opportunity to analyze their singing qualities in other acoustic songs specifically. This was a very cool collab, but it was necessary to simplify things so it wouldn't sound like a mess with two bands playing together. To see Band-Maid really do their thing, I'd recommend songs like the Blooming MV, Hate? official live or even Influencer MV. All their songs are SO different from each other that you really need about 20 under your belt before you get a grasp of just how phenomenal they are on their instruments and with songwriting/arranging. My own opinion on the vocals for the song you just watched is that it doesn't show Saiki at her best because it's pushing her limits on the upper register. Shes' actually an alto, with a powerful yet lovely voice. She has a great range for an alto though, because both Dani and Saiki pulled this off. Both did give Kanami (original composer) a hard time for all the high parts, lol.
Really enjoyed this reaction. I would really love to see you react to The Warning individually aswell. I'd personally recommend starting with "Choke live from the Pepsi center CDMX". Really hope to see you revisiting both these bands because both really deserve so much, they're both incredible

Great seeing you reacting to my favorite band The Warning, although this is not their song and not really vocal centric, so if you would be interested in reacting to The Warning and see what Dany the lead vocalist can really do, reacting to Hell You Call A Dream at the Pepsi Center is where she really shines.
IMHO...... this song does not represent both bands in their OWN individual sounds and style, but it is a brilliant "middle ground". But as this WAS to be a Band-Maid reaction, may I recommend the "entry level song" Domination-Live. Or for something newer.... Hate. This is the true Band-Maid.
I recall reading somewhere that this "middle ground" was deliberately crafted so that both bands could play the tune independently in their concerts without requiring the other to be present. Since at least for the immediate future that just won't work... maybe later than 2026 they could organize a tour together, but they are pretty booked up already for the next couple years. Although it's possible they'll bump into each other at one of the big festivals; time will tell...
@Stealthcabbie I must disagree with your choice of “Domination” or “Hate?” as a first song reaction. I think Band-Maid’s song “Wonderland” would be a better first choice for a vocalist to react to. Many Maidiacs feel that song showcases Saiki’s voice the best.

I witnessed the live debut of this song 😍 that was played together (once and only to date) as the encore & finale of the special concert by Band-Maid & The Warning on June 12 in Tokyo . My seat was located on the 2nd floor but in the center meaning in front of the two drummers. The best blend of sounds coming from the two amazing bands. I was in bliss!
• The lyrics are a really strong empowering message IMHO • I like that they did not try to do too much, which on one hand makes the music a bit less complex than either band’s other offerings, but it makes it that 8 players can play it and make it clean. It would be really easy to make a big'ol hot mess of this if they all tried to do too much. • The trade-offs really point out to me that each of the instrumentalists are so individually skilled and approach their parts in slightly different ways. No winners or losers. No battle. Just a lovely 4 or 8 beat display of the variety of approaches and talents for a solo section. • It is nice and compact at 3:21. I have seen plenty of collabs over the years which turn into rambling oeuvres that don't go anywhere musically. This one just feels nice and tidy to me.
The Warning is also a good band to hear with spectacular songs in which the drummer also sings, well, actually the three of them can sing and also play piano (formally trained in classical piano when children)
To really appreciate Saiki's wonderful vocals as a stand alone performance you should probably look for a slower song ... or an acoustic number like Anemone or Puzzle acoustic ;) . Thanks for reacting to our lovely MAIDs!

And it’s not the type of song I would personally recommend for an introduction 🤷🏻 As an old blues rock cat, I love the crunchy grooves and melodic rock. @@Katriinka why mad? That makes no sense for anyone to be mad. The real Maidiacs get where you are coming from. Also, you did not even get to hear Miku (Band-Maid 2nd vocalists, red rose) or Paulina (The Warning second vocalist, drummer) sing. They both have songs in their catalog where they sing lead, and I think you would really get a kick out of hearing them as well. A good one for Miku is Sayonakidori acoustic live. A good one for Paulina (Pau) would be either Narcissista live or her solo, piano cover of Creep. For you and what you do, I think this was the perfect song for you to start your journey of both.

8 Massively talented ladies! As a fan of The Warning and a newbie to Band-Maid I agree with @roygillotti4615 that while this song is great, it may not be the best representation of the bands. I am sure the Band-Maid fans who know them better than I do will make suggestions for songs they feel you will enjoy. As for The Warning I would suggest "Disciple" (Live from Pepsi Center CDMX). The 2 bands are fans of each other and first met in the US at a music festival. They also played a show together in Japan and performed this song LIVE. Thank you for this reaction.

You still have not reacted to BAND-MAID. This wonderful song is something else altogether. Please try another one, particularly a live performance. BAND-MAID have TWO amazing vocalists. The band’s “twin-vocal concept” is demonstrated ENDLESS STORY, and MANNERS+BLACK HOLE. SAIKI’s vocal range is on full display in WONDERLAND.

Both bands are worth listening to. It seems like you concentrate 99% on the vocals. Then, both bands have two "main" vocals, even though one is dominant. The Warning is three Mexican sisters. All three sing. All three play. Dani: guitar and main vocals Pau: drums and main/backup vocals (main composer) Ale: bass and backup vocals. BAND-MAID are five Japanese women. The warning from Mexico and Band-maid from Japan. Yes is 2 bands for one song collaboration. I you never heard other band with collaboration with 2 differentcountry, the song Ratatata with Babymetal from japan and Electric callboy from Germany. I'm fan for both band from japan.
Well, everyone states the obvious it is a mix of two bands. It is therefore obvious to examine each band separately. Band-Maid's lead singer Saiki has a deeper voice and was recruited by the founder Miku. Miku can sing well (a Japanese idol show winner) but as a sopprano not as suited for the music invisioned. That said, as you review Band-Maid, you will see how Miku and Saiki blend and contrast their voices. There are over 130 songs done over 11 years, and the thing special about Band-Maid is the skill level of the drummer, bassist, and lead guitarist. So, I would take the typical journey to being a maidiac: live performances, official videos, Domination (an overall band perspective); Freedom (drum solo); and, Hate? (an epic dueling of bass and guitar). Later checking out their acoustic performances on their pandemic Christmas Special (especially Sayonakidori done by Miku). They mix genre and challenge themselves. I am not allowed to sing at church or public events as I ruin it for others, so can't say what would thrill you as a vocalist, except maybe Thrill, the song that saved them from being dropped by the production company. (A little bit of Miku and a little bit of Saiki singing. Still a bit raw and not as polished as they are now).

So the Asian girls are Band-Maid. There are five of them mostly on the left of the screen and the other band is The Warning and they are the three Latino girls on the right they are three sisters from Mexico
Katrinka: One of the best things I ever did for myself as a Band-Maid fan was to watch the biographical documentaries about them, which are on the YT channel "Ohrenje". I strongly encourage you to do the same, maybe after the next 2 or 3 of their videos you experience. I'd recommend starting with Kobato Miku Parts 1, 2, & 3. She is the band's founder, and still in many ways its heart & soul. So her story is also the band 's story. Then you can watch each of the other four's individual bio's. I chose to take those in the order in which they joined: Kanami (lead guitar), Misa (bass), Akane (drums), & last but hardly least (no one in this band is "least"), Saiki (lead vocals). You should also check out both BAND-MAID and The Warning separately. I see some anime characters behind you. BAND-MAID do anime theme songs, though I would recommend the Music Video for 'Unleash' because they appear in anime for themselves.
I think Danny was using her impressive range to match Saiki, she doesn’t typically sing that style with The Warning. I think with this collaboration she stayed up in the high notes, with The Warning she will sing them, but uses a much broader palette.
Yeah as others have said, it's not a very good representation of both bands. But it's a really cool collab! I hope you at the very least. Check out each one individually, but if you want suggestions for other reactions: bandmaids endless story is a very good vocal reaction, and personally for me, I love the warnings dust to dust.
Besides a proper Band Maid reaction, I will suggest you East of Eden with the MV This moment (you will understand why due to the vocalist). Gacharic Spin (I wish I MV ou live performance - a band with at least three singers) and Lovebites (Frozen Serenade is a good start) an operatic voice in a metal scene - all of them are Japanese groups.

As others have already pointed out, commented and suggested listening to both bands individually, I second or third or whatever the count is at this moment.😂😂😂 I'm a fan of the music of both bands, but lean way more Maidiac vs TWA, so I'll suggest songs for Band-Maid. There is a live acoustic version of "Puzzle" at ZEPP Tokyo out there and maybe do a two-for reaction? "Puzzle" Official Live MV from Tokyo Garden Theater first, to hear the full electric version. And a follow up with the acoustic live version? I think it shows Saiki singing with two completely different feels. If you want to hear a kick🍑 conversation between the bass and the guitar, try "Hate?" Official Live MV from their 10th Anniversary Tour Finale at Yokohama Arena. For Saiki's vocals, I would also suggest "Wonderland" Official Live MV from Line Cube Shibuya. "Daydreaming" OMV, a fantastic rock ballad masterpiece. "Endless Story" Official Live MV from the same show as "Hate?" mentioned above is another great one. Not a competition, a collaboration. Everyone got to shine. They are friends who met 2 years ago and had followed each other well before they met. Decided to write a song together. A Japanese band and a Mexican band creating a song in English.

Band Maid was started in 2013 by Miku Kobato. At the time she had just left the Idol Group, Lil Cumin and she didn't like the type of music she had been performing. She approached her management agency with the idea of making an actual band playing rock music but dressed as maids. She had worked in a Maid Cafe and thought the image of maids playing rockin music would create what she called "The Gap" between what you see and what you hear. The Management company was like Ok, go ahead.
Miku then looked around and found Kanami a singer/songwriter who was posting her own videos on the internet. Miku had her agency contact her and Kanami thought the idea was cool and agreed to join. Miku then asked if Kanami knew a drummer who might be interested. Kanami had worked with Akane in the past and there is 2 versions of this, the first is, Kanami literally walked over to Akane's apartment and asked her, the second is Kanami called Akane and asked her. (Akane has said in 2 different interviews that 1: Kanami called her and asked if she could come over and 2: in a second interview Kanami just came over) Akane was actually hesitant as she had worked in an "All Girl Group" before and didn't enjoy it as it wasn't the type of music she wanted to play. After hearing a Demo, Akane was like ok, but was still slightly hesitant because of the "Maid Outfits", but she agreed to give it a try. Akane was asked if she knew a bass player and she had gone to Tokyo School of Music with MISA and had worked a couple of jobs with her. So Misa was contacted and after she heard a demo she was like I like the music, but she also was hesitant about the "Maid Outfits", but she relented and joined in as she really wanted to play the kind of music she heard in the demo. The 3 of them then "Auditioned" for the record company and passed the audition.
Now we have the "Core" members. The 4 members worked out some songs provided for them by the record company, and a setlist and they had performed 3 times with just Miku on main vocals. Miku after those performances felt that her voice wasn't powerful enough to really perform the songs she wanted. So she approached her management company again and asked if they had any singers who weren't in other projects. They then auditioned several singers. Miku heard Saiki rehearsing in a room across the hall and asked if she could be auditioned, the record company then had Saiki audition.
Saiki was signed to the same management company and had done some work as a backup singer and dancer and was asked if she would be interested in auditioning for this new group which currently had 4 members and she would be the fifth. She had been a member of a group with 8 other people as a backup singer and dancer, and HATED it. So she listened to the demo and thought "Cool" because she liked the music.
Now we come to the tricky part. Miku KNEW that if Saiki was told about the "Maid Outfits" she would say NO WAY!, so they didn't tell her. They told her they would have "Cool/cute Clothes"(I've read it translated either way), and she never met Miku until a few days before they had a contracted performance. She wasn't told about the "Maid Outfits" until the day before the performance, and she had considered backing out, but she had signed the contract. (Saiki also had NEVER met Miku until then as well)
So the Ladies, went and did the performance and Saiki really, REALLY liked the crowds reaction and the music they were performing. She DIDN'T like the apron she wore so it got ditched after the first performance.
And you now have the beginnings of the BEST LIVE HARD ROCK BAND in the WORLD!
ALL HAIL BAND MAID!!!!!
Now that we have the Full band, it was felt that there needed to be a second guitar. Saiki was like, "Not Me, No Way." So Miku said, "I'll do it.", at first that was literally all she did, was hold the guitar and mime playing it, until Akane said, if you are going to hold it, you NEED to learn to play it. And Miku said, "Ok.", and Kanami started to teach Miku how to play. The Ladies released their first album in 2014 "Maid in Japan" which failed to chart, but later after "Thrill" it was reissued and charted to #26 in Japan.
Then in 2015 they released "New Beginning"
On New Beginning was the song that changed Band Maid's entire existence. "Thrill"...
The band was getting ready to release their first music video and the choice was between "Love, Passion, Matador" and "Thrill" and the ladies chose Thrill. (Little known fact, Miku helped with the lyrics on Thrill but did not get credited)
This became the seminal moment of Band Maid. Because their second album charted at #64, the record company was seriously considering disbanding the Ladies and switching them to other projects. (In fact they had Kanami and Akane work with Mochi to Cheese thinking that when Band Maid cratered they could use them in another band. MISA had also just started working with Mochi to Cheese as well). However about 6 months after the video's release, a Facebook page "JRock Radio" posted the video to their timeline. And the video went viral. Having over a million views in just a few short weeks. The Ladies Twitter page got so many hits they thought their page had been hacked. Their RUclips channel also started getting more and more subscribers and views to Thrill.
Now the ladies knew where their fans wanted them to go. Harder Rock, less pop. And history was Maid.

@@greylocke100 From Japan, a small revision When Miku consulted the agency, she said that she likes maids but wants to do cool music, and the agency asked her how about maids playing rock. Miku replied that it would be a good idea to mix it up. At that time, the agency had a stock of songs that could be provided to the new band.

Katriinka, welcome to the world of Band-Maid (and The Warning) During "Show Them", Saiki and Dany raised their vocal range to fit the temp of the song. This was a wonderful collaboration between two all-female bands that shouts "GIRL POWER!". The two bands have talked about doing another collab together in the future. They may be the new "power couple" in rock. Since Dany and Saiki's vocal ranges are normally lower, it behooves you to listen to their music separately.
Dany has a lot of power behind her voice during the metal sound they use. "Automatic Sun" by The Warning is a suggestion for another reaction. Saiki, on the other hand, doesn't quite that lung and vocal power (he's had vocal cord surgery in the past so must be very careful) but her beautiful voice is still strong and has an emotional quality to her lyrics. A Band-Maid song I suggest you react to next is "Wonderland". It show Saiki's vocal range and emotive qualities.

This song was written by Kanami, the lead guitarist of BAND-MAID, and the data was exchanged between Mexico and Japan, which are on the other side of the world, to make revisions, and it was readjusted and recorded in one week that The Warning came to Japan. Kanami wanted to write a song that neither band had ever done before, so the two lead vocalists continue to sing at high notes that they have never hit before. The resulting song sounds like The Warning to BAND-MAID fans and sounds like BAND-MAID to The Warning fans. The performance makes use of the best of both bands.
Hi Katriinka. The two singers don't usually sing in such a high key, especially Dani from The Warning. But about Band-Maid Saiki the main singer and Miku (the little one with purple hair in the center) second singer will give you the opportunity to analyze their singing qualities in other acoustic songs specifically. This was a very cool collab, but it was necessary to simplify things so it wouldn't sound like a mess with two bands playing together. To see Band-Maid really do their thing, I'd recommend songs like the Blooming MV, Hate? official live or even Influencer MV. All their songs are SO different from each other that you really need about 20 under your belt before you get a grasp of just how phenomenal they are on their instruments and with songwriting/arranging. My own opinion on the vocals for the song you just watched is that it doesn't show Saiki at her best because it's pushing her limits on the upper register. Shes' actually an alto, with a powerful yet lovely voice. She has a great range for an alto though, because both Dani and Saiki pulled this off. Both did give Kanami (original composer) a hard time for all the high parts, lol.

Great seeing you reacting to my favorite band The Warning, although this is not their song and not really vocal centric, so if you would be interested in reacting to The Warning and see what Dany the lead vocalist can really do, reacting to Hell You Call A Dream at the Pepsi Center is where she really shines.
IMHO...... this song does not represent both bands in their OWN individual sounds and style, but it is a brilliant "middle ground". But as this WAS to be a Band-Maid reaction, may I recommend the "entry level song" Domination-Live. Or for something newer.... Hate. This is the true Band-Maid.
I recall reading somewhere that this "middle ground" was deliberately crafted so that both bands could play the tune independently in their concerts without requiring the other to be present. Since at least for the immediate future that just won't work... maybe later than 2026 they could organize a tour together, but they are pretty booked up already for the next couple years. Although it's possible they'll bump into each other at one of the big festivals; time will tell...
@Stealthcabbie I must disagree with your choice of “Domination” or “Hate?” as a first song reaction. I think Band-Maid’s song “Wonderland” would be a better first choice for a vocalist to react to. Many Maidiacs feel that song showcases Saiki’s voice the best.

I witnessed the live debut of this song 😍 that was played together (once and only to date) as the encore & finale of the special concert by Band-Maid & The Warning on June 12 in Tokyo . My seat was located on the 2nd floor but in the center meaning in front of the two drummers. The best blend of sounds coming from the two amazing bands. I was in bliss!

• The lyrics are a really strong empowering message IMHO
• I like that they did not try to do too much, which on one hand makes the music a bit less complex than either band’s other offerings, but it makes it that 8 players can play it and make it clean. It would be really easy to make a big'ol hot mess of this if they all tried to do too much.
• The trade-offs really point out to me that each of the instrumentalists are so individually skilled and approach their parts in slightly different ways. No winners or losers. No battle. Just a lovely 4 or 8 beat display of the variety of approaches and talents for a solo section.
• It is nice and compact at 3:21. I have seen plenty of collabs over the years which turn into rambling oeuvres that don't go anywhere musically. This one just feels nice and tidy to me.
The Warning is also a good band to hear with spectacular songs in which the drummer also sings, well, actually the three of them can sing and also play piano (formally trained in classical piano when children)

Also, you did not even get to hear Miku (Band-Maid 2nd vocalists, red rose) or Paulina (The Warning second vocalist, drummer) sing. They both have songs in their catalog where they sing lead, and I think you would really get a kick out of hearing them as well.
A good one for Miku is Sayonakidori acoustic live.
A good one for Paulina (Pau) would be either Narcissista live or her solo, piano cover of Creep.
For you and what you do, I think this was the perfect song for you to start your journey of both.

8 Massively talented ladies! As a fan of The Warning and a newbie to Band-Maid I agree with @roygillotti4615 that while this song is great, it may not be the best representation of the bands. I am sure the Band-Maid fans who know them better than I do will make suggestions for songs they feel you will enjoy. As for The Warning I would suggest "Disciple" (Live from Pepsi Center CDMX). The 2 bands are fans of each other and first met in the US at a music festival. They also played a show together in Japan and performed this song LIVE. Thank you for this reaction.

You still have not reacted to BAND-MAID. This wonderful song is something else altogether. Please try another one, particularly a live performance. BAND-MAID have TWO amazing vocalists. The band’s “twin-vocal concept” is demonstrated ENDLESS STORY, and MANNERS+BLACK HOLE. SAIKI’s vocal range is on full display in WONDERLAND.

Both bands are worth listening to. It seems like you concentrate 99% on the vocals. Then, both bands have two "main" vocals, even though one is dominant.

Well, everyone states the obvious it is a mix of two bands. It is therefore obvious to examine each band separately. Band-Maid's lead singer Saiki has a deeper voice and was recruited by the founder Miku. Miku can sing well (a Japanese idol show winner) but as a sopprano not as suited for the music invisioned. That said, as you review Band-Maid, you will see how Miku and Saiki blend and contrast their voices. There are over 130 songs done over 11 years, and the thing special about Band-Maid is the skill level of the drummer, bassist, and lead guitarist. So, I would take the typical journey to being a maidiac: live performances, official videos, Domination (an overall band perspective); Freedom (drum solo); and, Hate? (an epic dueling of bass and guitar). Later checking out their acoustic performances on their pandemic Christmas Special (especially Sayonakidori done by Miku). They mix genre and challenge themselves. I am not allowed to sing at church or public events as I ruin it for others, so can't say what would thrill you as a vocalist, except maybe Thrill, the song that saved them from being dropped by the production company. (A little bit of Miku and a little bit of Saiki singing. Still a bit raw and not as polished as they are now).

So the Asian girls are Band-Maid. There are five of them mostly on the left of the screen and the other band is The Warning and they are the three Latino girls on the right they are three sisters from Mexico

Katrinka: One of the best things I ever did for myself as a Band-Maid fan was to watch the biographical documentaries about them, which are on the YT channel "Ohrenje". I strongly encourage you to do the same, maybe after the next 2 or 3 of their videos you experience. I'd recommend starting with Kobato Miku Parts 1, 2, & 3. She is the band's founder, and still in many ways its heart & soul. So her story is also the band 's story. Then you can watch each of the other four's individual bio's. I chose to take those in the order in which they joined: Kanami (lead guitar), Misa (bass), Akane (drums), & last but hardly least (no one in this band is "least"), Saiki (lead vocals). Thanks for all your informed and thoughtful commentary so far ... 💜
You should also check out both BAND-MAID and The Warning separately. I see some anime characters behind you. BAND-MAID do anime theme songs, though I would recommend the Music Video for 'Unleash' because they appear in anime for themselves.

I think Danny was using her impressive range to match Saiki, she doesn’t typically sing that style with The Warning. I think with this collaboration she stayed up in the high notes, with The Warning she will sing them, but uses a much broader palette.

Yeah as others have said, it's not a very good representation of both bands. But it's a really cool collab! I hope you at the very least. Check out each one individually, but if you want suggestions for other reactions: bandmaids endless story is a very good vocal reaction, and personally for me, I love the warnings dust to dust.

This is not representative of Band-Maid, it is a collaboration between two Bands. Hearing Band-Maid on their own is a wholly different experience!
Besides a proper Band Maid reaction, I will suggest you East of Eden with the MV This moment (you will understand why due to the vocalist). Gacharic Spin (I wish I MV ou live performance - a band with at least three singers) and Lovebites (Frozen Serenade is a good start) an operatic voice in a metal scene - all of them are Japanese groups.
For vocals, recommend "Endless Story" but definitely the live version.
This was super fun. It's always fun to see collabs like this. Ateez and BEFIRST have been doing things together lately and it's been fun. The Atiny here would love to see you watch Ateez's Killing Voice.

Welcome Princess Katriinka to the world of Band-Maid and The Warning. As others have already pointed out, commented and suggested listening to both bands individually, I second or third or whatever the count is at this moment.😂😂😂 I'm a fan of the music of both bands, but lean way more Maidiac vs TWA, so I'll suggest songs for Band-Maid. There is a live acoustic version of "Puzzle" at ZEPP Tokyo out there and maybe do a two-for reaction? "Puzzle" Official Live MV from Tokyo Garden Theater first, to hear the full electric version. And a follow up with the acoustic live version? I think it shows Saiki singing with two completely different feels. If you want to hear a kick🍑 conversation between the bass and the guitar, try "Hate?" Official Live MV from their 10th Anniversary Tour Finale at Yokohama Arena. For Saiki's vocals, I would also suggest "Wonderland" Official Live MV from Line Cube Shibuya. "Daydreaming" OMV, a fantastic rock ballad masterpiece. "Endless Story" Official Live MV from the same show as "Hate?" mentioned above is another great one. Band-Maids discography is deep and diverse, so I hope you, and your followers, are able to listen to a good cross section of their music as their song are different. Not a competition, a collaboration. Everyone got to shine. They are friends who met 2 years ago and had followed each other well before they met. Decided to write a song together. A Japanese band and a Mexican band creating a song in English.
