Amazing as usual. For next tutorials maybe you can explain which textile printing technique is best to keep that vintage essence on these tees? Im a bit lost when it comes to that
any way you could do a vintage racing tee type design? they had crazy ass graphics and i just can’t find any tutorial on how to properly execute the design ...
Make sure you're using Gradient Overlay and not Color Overlay. Secondly, when using Gradient Overlay make sure you have the White + Transparent option selected as shown in this video.
I have a few ideas on vintage style designs, have you checked those out? You might be able to use some of my techniques on what you're describing. Thank you for watching! 💯
Lol watch my newest video. You're selective the first gradient option, which is two color colors. You need to pick the second gradient option, which is foreground to transparent.
how does it translate into actual shirt? The transparencies in the edges of the design and white shirt over white ink I think will look bad. Transparencies on DTG printer sucks.
The vast majority of my videos are geared toward screen printing, not DTG. You'd need to approach the design quite differently if you plan on using DTG.
Thanks so much for the comment! I always recommend working with a local screen printer. For one, it's great to support a local business. For two, it's great to have a direct contact with someone rather than a random customer service person. So I would just Google "Screen Printers (Your City)" or even better, make a post on Facebook and ask for recommendations in your area. 💯
Have you watched this video? It explains the best method for finalizing artwork. In terms of sending the file, I suggest sending a download link via WeTransfer, Dropbox, etc rather than trying to email directly. ruclips.net/video/GTntZwiluck/видео.html
If you’re printing it yourself, it’ll be hard for me to give you advice because I’m not a printer. But if you’re printing with someone else, you won’t need to do color seps for screen printing or DTG.
thank you for making this video man, just subbed! How can i make the bottom color transparent? having the same issue some others are having where it makes the whole pic covered when i try and do the gradient overlay
Honestly, I'm not sure because I haven't used ProCreate. I'd say try it out. I'm sure some of the general techniques I used in this video would be the same or very similar. 💯Appreciate the question!
Is there any way to fix how the picture looks when its made bigger? I copy and pasted the picture onto the white page however when i tried to make it big, the image looks very pixelated. Thank you
Just delete the background! If your intention is to print DTG you have to create the artwork with that in mind though. Most methods I use are intended for screen printed graphics.
How you get the measurement tool bar thing above her picture going across like 3500 2500 1500 I am new to photoshop .Also I have the new photoshop I dont see the eraser either
Hey! I don't have any recommendations for buying shirts AND printing, but I do have a video where I talk about wholesale blank t-shirts, some of which have a boxy fit. You can watch that here ruclips.net/video/zrdg_HoXxAA/видео.html Then for printing, I always recommend going local. It's cool to support a local business, but also nice to have a direct contact somewhere rather than a random customer service person which you'll most likely get with an online company.
Shouldn't be a problem for screen printing or DTG. I would recommend screen printing through for higher quality. They'll utilize a lot of halftones for the airbrushing effect.
Really nice video - tutorial! I found you a few minutes ago by watching your presentation video on Instagram ("sponsored" type of video). It appeared randomly on my news feed. I watched that video and decided to check out your page. New *follower* now! New *subscriber* here on your channel as well! Cheers! ✌
You’d have to ask Marino Morwood how he does his tees! I’m not sure. I’m sure him and I do a lot of things the same and a lot of things different. That’s just how art is, you know?
Both are fine, but I always recommend local screen printing when possible. True vintage shirts were screen printed, so that's going to give you a more authentic look.
You leaving out information when you explain. If you take the Aaliyah picture and press gradient overlay sometime the whole background turns white but you don’t explain how to fix those issues
I don't leave any information out. You just have to watch what I'm doing. Play with the scale bar, just like I do in the video until you get the desired results.

hi fuller is it okay if i print my design like this on dtg?
Maybe, if all the imagery/elements was isolated. Def would look better screen printed though.
7:13 with the gradient overlay, it tries to airbrush the whole image. How do I make it only airbrush the bottom?
You're most likely using two colors for the overlay versus 1 color and a transparent background.
I’m having the same issues as him. We’re you ever able to fix it mistake @pamela O
what size canvas you use
I always use 15" x 25" H at 300 DPI for t-shirt designs

Are you my channel's first online troll? Lmao
Hey bro, what the best printing method to use for this type of design?
I always recommend screen printing if possible
what are the legalalties of creating these bootlegs and selling them if you have any knowledge please share
If you're using copyrighted photos and making money off them, it's illegal.
Can you show us what is the best way to send the files to a printing company? Like in what format PNG JPG etc

Screenprint on this right? What is the color mode?
I use RGB color mode for all my designs. Yes, this is intended to be screen printed but DTG would work fine too especially on white garments.
@@FULLERMOE aight bro but if im gonna do this with rgb screen print i should color sep it right? And dtg doesnt need color sep? Thank you man!

click on reset alignment. I had that issue and it helped

So how would you get rid of the edges if you where putting it on a black shirt or something
You could use a black to transparent gradient. I do it in a lot of my other videos.
@@FULLERMOE do you have a written step by step on how to make bootleg shirts? I try to follow and right the steps down
Could you do movie posters?
I was thinking of doing a video where I create a t-shirt design using old movie posters, possibly horror.
Is there any way to fix how the picture looks when its made bigger? I copy and pasted the picture onto the white page however when i tried to make it big, the image looks very pixelated. Thank you
Nope, you just need to use the biggest photo possible.
Hey, can this design be screen printed and look it was air brushed?
Absolutely. Probably use water based ink so that the print is thinner/softer to the touch and looks more airbrushed?
CAN YOU ADD A TEXT IN YOUR VIDEO WHEN YOU MAKE A PITCHERS ON THAT APP
how do u make the whole bg transparent?
Just delete the background! If your intention is to print DTG you have to create the artwork with that in mind though. Most methods I use are intended for screen printed graphics.
VINTAGE WRESTLING TEE
How you get the measurement tool bar thing above her picture going across like 3500 2500 1500 I am new to photoshop .Also I have the new photoshop I dont see the eraser either
i am trying to do the layer three but everytime i paint over it. it deletes the Y how come?
I’m following step by step and when I do gradient overlay it’s not giving me the option to put 90 degrees
It's there! Just make sure you're using the Layer Styles panel to do it.
but what if the photo we are using doesnt have a white background
You would just have to cut out the object from the photo. You can watch most of my other design tutorials to learn how I do that. 💯
Hey fuller, you got any recommendation for like sites you can buy the vintage boxed shirt from so you can print on them? thanks lol

you just did a click when you changed the hue after the grad. Didn't explain you just made it pop up
REAL QUESTION!!!
is making these artist/sportsteam shirts illegal?!!
for selling purposes
It is, yes. My videos are for entertainment only. The hope is that people will apply the Photoshop methods they learn here to original designs/photos.
when i use gradient my entire picture disappears :(
Make sure you’re using the correct gradient selection. It should be a color and then the transparent grid. You probably have it set to two colors.
When I click on gradient overlay the whole person turns white rather than fading the bottom edge
Make sure you’ve got that second gradient option selected that goes from foreground to transparent.
You lost me at the little diamond tools. Do you have a video of that slower 🤦🏽♀️
I don't have another video, but I believe you can slow down the playback speed lol
