Here’s some tips from my experience with recruiting. 1. Start with a lower list of recruits and try to win the recruitment early and get a bigger lead on other schools. 2. Don’t spread your resources too thin. Go heavier on more talented prospects. Ex: Sending the house on a player with great stats. Then work your way down the Lower star players. 3. Don’t forget your pitches. Finding the ideal pitch for a player and hard selling gives a lot of influence. You don’t need all A+ items either. If 2 out of 3 categories are B+ or higher, you’ll still get a good pitch. 4. When starting out, use the “Recommended” filter on the prospect list and filter the players by interest/pipeline. You’ll have a better chance of signing. 5. Don’t forget about clicking in the right stick to see your Team Needs screen. Seeing what players you’ll need after this season helps narrow down the recruiting. 6. Look for key attributes. Speed on skill players is essential. Having a WR with 90 catching but only 83 speed is never worth it. Physical players just aren’t as good in this game. Another Example: A power rusher LE with 98 pursuit but 71 power moves is not a good pick. No point in having good Pursuit if he can’t get off a block. 7. Only scout as much as needed. If you scout a player halfway and their speed or other key stats are low, then just move on. 8. If I know for sure that I’m going to put time in a player and try to get him, use those scholarships ASAP. It warns you that they are limited, but just remember that you don’t get every player that you offer a scholarship too and they come back after the player commits somewhere else. 9. Verbally committed players have a very slight chance of un-committing. But never count on it.
Yeah your recruiting issue is you need to switch from Send the House to Hard Sells and visits Send the House and all the prerequisites are just to find out what he cares about Then you do Hard Sells when you fill the 3 check marks on the right side. That’s what gives the most influence. Also scheduling visits. Scheduling a visit with one of their top important check marks gives a ton of influence. Also if you win the game.
I recommend starting with 20 or less key prospect targets and trying to get a huge lead early. The 1-2 star prospects tend to sit around much longer, you can get them later as you sign and/or lose higher prospects ad free up points
Anything more than 25 you are usually not gonna have enough points for the better prospects. And once you get a good lead I usually take some points off and divvy them up between the other prospects
Schedule the visits as fast as you get all three major interests. The earlier you get those, the faster you can get recruits to commit. Take points off so that Savage can visit! You got him!
Jerome if they have 0 offers you can easily become their top school. The interest meter is the players interest in a school and will not grow if they are not offered a scholarship by that school! Love the vids
Already left a recruiting tip comment but here’s some gameplay tips (I’m an amateur just fyi) 1. Don’t bother playing defense unless you really really want. The AI is cracked at offense is this game. Unless you’re determined on getting good at defense, it’s more worth it to play the Moments or All Offense each game. But as this is an in depth dynasty, you do you man. 2. With the revamped passing, don’t think of the meter as accuracy. It’s still similar to past passing. Tap to lob, hold for sec to touch pass, and hold all the way to bullet pass. Hitting yellow means it should be a pure bullet pass. Holding too long makes it red and inaccurate. Different situations will put the red farther up the meter. Ex: Throwing on the run, under pressure, mid-hit, etc. 3. Unless you got a cracked receiver with 95+ CIT, aggressive catches just don’t work. The players barely ever go up for it. I mainly look for separation and speed from the receivers. 4. PRE-SNAP BLOCKING. The AI is insane at getting to the QB. By adjusting your o-line’s blocking assignments, you have a better chance of throwing. EX: If you see a LB creeping forward on your LG, half slide to the left to block that gap. 5. Custom stems on hot routes. Custom stems is a game changer. Moving a players curl route or post further or closer to the LOS can really change how defenders follow them and open up receivers. 6. Double check your depth chart. I’ve had a several instances where I changed my depth chart before a game and it reverted upon the game starting. I have an 88 OVR SO QB on my Utah State rebuild and the game for some reasons keeps trying to put my 82 OVR SR QB in instead. 7. When kicking, make sure you vibration in your controller. When you feel no vibration, the kicking line is aimed at the goalposts. After that, watch the wind. If it’s a 15mph wind going to the right, then you want to move the arrow farther left in the “no-vibration” zone of the meter. Or just go for 2point conversions.
