Love your work; videos and build. I’d love to see an updated build video with the fridge pull out. I’m working on developing a similar pull out but out of the rear driver side door on my 2018 SR5. Keep living the dream some of us are right behind you.
I watched the whole video and I don't believe you ever said if it was 12v or 120v I'm not clicking the link to find out lol sorry.. but nice having you back Jedi 😉
Hey Jeb, I've by been a big fan of yours since day one.. I'm a singer and musician.... I would ❤️to work with you....I converted a shuttle bus into an RV ... I retired in 2021 at age 64.... I might be old physically but in my head I'm still 22... I'm traveling Route 66... I'm gonna make my way to the Northwest... I'm from the midwest but I want to see as much of this great country
Sorry Jed I know your name. I am definitely going to record some music with you.. I luv all music I don't care what style it is. I have a full recording studio in my bus. Peace.
You mentioned temperatures getting down into the 40’s there. I am curious about any issues you have with condensation. I also use an “air flow pad” under my mattress, but condensation still occurs on metal surfaces and windows. If it weren’t for condensation problems I’d stay in Massachusetts during the winters, but have been here in Arizona. It still gets cold at night-24 degrees was last winters low, humidity around 18%-no condensation. What has the humidity at night been where you are? On of the best qualities in all your video is your positive energy. I’m charged! Be safe.
Humidity can be brutal in the pnw in winter. Insulation over all glass and metal, a fan running at all times, and either match the temperature inside and outside (and use something like a heated blanket to stay warm), or create warm dry air inside with ventilation to drive out humidity. It will dip down into the teens at night and sometimes lower in peak winter. I am getting a diesel heater for those nights.
I have an air dryer (they use them on boats) and it magically keeps the moisture way down and heats my van 10° -15° warmer than outside and that alone is good for me till November when I add actual heat😇 the air dryer costs around $50-60 and is about 150-200 watts. I love it😇
@@IntoTheMystery13I think the answer is DC🤔😁😁 I pretty much only know watts so far. Amazon has them and they have regular plugs, so using your power station is the bestest bet😇😉
You'll either need a layer on top that doesn't breathe as well, to wear clothes while you sleep, or to be inside of something insulated. They are great blankets, but have their limits.
Unless ones styn wrapped up full time , temps rarely above 50 in winter . . Tried warm blanket , only last a few nts stop work, found best to sleep on top of heat blanket.
That's pretty cool. When I was looking for 12v blankets many years ago I couldn't find anything safer than my 120v devices. I chose to stick with my 120v units which I've used for years in my sticks-and-bricks, and lose the extra energy through my inverter because these appliances have proved themselves safe over the last 2 decades for me. The 12v blankets have too many defects, IMO. There have been too many bad experiences with 12v blankets for me to trust them (melted plugs, etc). I keep hoping the manufacturers will improve their products. Maybe Ignik has perfected the model. 🙏
That does seem like a nice blanket, but Im weird I like core really warm and my head and feet not so much😇 my feet are almost always bare and sticking out of the blanket 😁😁😁😁
I do, but I've never actually posted it. I'll add it to my descriptions from now one. Here is it is: www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1GA9V3DQF6EMA?ref_=wl_share Thanks!

So good to see the channel bro. You’re one of the people that got me excited about the VanLife before it was a big deal
Hell yeah

Right on! I have my cabinet pulled out right now to repaint it. I’ll have that updated video out within 2 weeks.
@@IntoTheMystery13 Thanks for the response. Look forward to the update.
Keep cool, stay warm!

12 volt
@@IntoTheMystery13 thanks! Definitely wasn't expecting that! Amazing!
Bob Wells covered this: 120V heated blanket uses less electricity than 12V, because it cycles on and OFF.
I can’t find that video. Do you have a link? I prefer the heat on all the time.

Interesting! Is the air drier ac or dc?

Sounds AC
Will ektos blanket help if the weather goes down to 40 degrees?

I guess it depends on where you live. Heat works great from above.
