Yes I have heard of Michael Haneke, and I've seen Cashe, but that's the only movie I've seen from him. I really enjoyed Cashe and I want to rewatch it and see more of his movies. Although, I'm not sure what you're trying to say with this comment. Have you seen him IRL before? Is he your 2nd favorite director or your favorite? I'm so confused!
@@MichaelMan2000 okay so my favourite director is Martin Mcdonagh because I really really enjoy his films but I can admit his films aren't as consistently good or artistically powerful as Hanekes meaning I think Haneke is a better director even though I really like Mcdonagh films.
Have you read the book the movie was based on? Bc it feels like you’re crediting the director a little too much, considering he didn’t create the story, really. Idk though
From my understanding the book is pretty different, and a lot of what makes the direction in is in this movie good, is the way it's presented rather than the ideas itself.
