I have always adored David. I would like to thank him for enriching my life. He is the first thing I remember seeing on TV, (him and a french cartoon about the evolution of humanity). That was back when i was like 6 in 1978.. He has just always been there, all the way ower the years,, to deepen my love and understanding of the natural world. Also huge gratitude and respect for the BBC, a mark of quality in all theyr productions.
Sir David Attenborough deserves to be coined as an iconic naturalist who popularized the beauty of the nature around us. Why not the scientific community gives him the Nobel Prize for such activity which helped many generations to discover the beauty of our world?
I have always loved and admired Sir David and his true love of the natural world. His TV programs were always on the top of my family's 'must watch' list. He is the best example of how we should treat other creatures, both animals and plants, who share our planet. Most of them are actually more 'humane' than a lot of people are. I am thrilled to see him still active and loving and enjoying life. As a personal P. S. - if each person recycles or reuses one piece of plastic, that will make a big difference. There are over 8 billion people on this planet, so that would be 8 billion pieces of plastic not in our oceans or landfills. Think about it!
