Wow, i wish i had known of Bernie's shop, before i moved,lol. I used to live in over in Pocono Mountain area back in 92. THEN i moved to the midwest back in 2021.
As for the nose, I have 5 of them. I put a piece of packing blue tape on the top edge that goes inside the boiler, just half way round. That usually keeps the nose to come loose. I do have one that I had to put two layers of tape.
8766/1 is for all Hudson locomotives manufactured by Rivarossi. Another viewer commented it might be a fantasy paint job but it's Jedi Master level precision.

Rivarossi 8766/1 is the Dreyfuss 20th Century Hudson, painted in all NYC gray. This is a repaint, fantasy scheme. Nice paint job though.

I used the slightest amount of CA to keep the nose intact.
