Ashamed to say I became hypothermic at bottom of first waterfall in 1994, and two of us had to be hauled out by CRO. 6 hours of hell! The water was roaring and it was November. I recall being in the 4x4 ambulance afterwards and CRO knocked on window, asking "Did you have any mates down there?" "Yes, 1 friend and 2 CRO". "Bugger" came the reply. "We've derigged the cave" All 3 survived. The first CRO to arrive brought me back to consciousness with terrible halitosis!!!
I've just read that story. Came here to see the video of the cave. What a dangerous hobby and combine it with water. Glad to hear they were able to bring the body out. R.I.P to the person who passed ✝️🙏
I worked with him. Absolutely devastated. He was just one of the greatest people I've ever met. The office is still in shock! Full of knowledge, wisdom, had one of the sharpest minds, highly intelligent, brilliant career, loving father and husband! He is and will always be missed! RIP Boss! @@kirs1064

There’s no place to escape the water at the bottom of the first pitch. In winter it’s freezing!
RIP to the guy found on the 19th 2025

@RoughWalkers Same as the guy who died in nutty putty cave. He literally crawled into his coffin they couldn't retrieve his body
