Two of my favorite bands going at it...Cookman took the win this year, but two very good halftime shows. I wish the bands now days would STAY AND WATCH the other from the sidelines like we did back in the day though man. I think it has severely taken then energy from the crowd at halftime when the other band just leaves one they've finished. The crowd wants to see the presentation AND a head to head halftime battle too. Good shit though Cookman..enjoyed your show. Kudos to BCU and FAMU for being bands that focus on halftime more than stand music.
First time since 2019 where I can genuinely say Cookman got the dub at halftime. Great work! FAMU seemed a bit flat this year. I’m sure they’ll regroup next year.
