I had the privilege to meet/jam/learn from Ariel at Cory Wong’s summer camp. I really can’t say enough great things about him as a musician and person. Extremely humble, talented, and very cool! He even let me play his Mule Guitar :)

You've got such a Great sound and feel Ariel ! You've heard of David Tronzo be takes the slide to another planet also . In 1990 I built a Baritone Slide Guitar 28" scale tuned to open B with an 1/8 "aluminum Top and a 16 " galvanized pan for the back and sides I play it Bottleneck style and Lap style . It has such a great sound ! You have inspired me to pull it out and play it again . Thanks , K.L. Where can I get that CD you talked about in the Video ?

that's what people say when they're able to have multiple top-quality instruments. I guess they forget that others have to make do with sometimes-one guitar. diff strokes

@@iwillnevergetone5 I'm aware of many top-quality guitars specifically designed to do it all. Often marketed as a Swiss Army knife. Even bridging the gap between acoustic and electric with guitars like the Fender. Acoustasonic and Taylor t5.

I love a versatile 1 guitar do it all so it takes up less space it's the same neck scale every time. I totally hate to carry multiple guitars and switch between songs.
Now because I hate that multiple guitar idea doesn't mean I hate this MASTER humble friendly super creative great person. I just see things totally the other extreme. My goal is 1 guitar to do it all...haven't got there it's just a goal.
I love the Ariel playing everything is 100% perfection to my ears unique tone that he wanted he achieved it too. He definitely reached his goal with this unique instrument it's awesome. Keep it going smooth yet metallic perfect combined tone. That is a beautiful way His sound he found.
Just a different approach to playing out.

There's merit to both though. A jack of all trades guitar and/or amp isn't what I gravitate towards as a player, but it probably would be better in some situations.
You can't always accommodate or justify the need for several guitars, sometimes I'm playing in a high paced, high energy coverband. Covering many styles with the main theme being: something fun to listen and party at, most people will know. A party band. Going from Guns 'n Roses to Clapton, to Celine Dion.
One of my other gigs is in the band of a musical theater group. Besides the weird chords, sheet music, modulations and constant accomodating of on stage 'oopsies', it's typically wild the amount of dynamics, different tones and styles they're asking of me.
A more versatile guitar and amp would be the much smarter choice for me. It's fun to play the stuff I do, but it's not about me or my guitars. If it is, I probably screwed up.
