The e3 is my most played tank, was my first tier 10, and back in the day, was the bane of wtf e100 with 1100 he damage and enough armor to bounce their gold.
Liking my E3.. still working towards E4, but the T30 is a great TD as well, but I can see why the E4 is good, esp the turret... took me some time to get used to turretless tanks o.0
E4 - The worst version of 60 tp with better pen,but all in all commander hatch really kills this tank thats why i dont even bother grinding it E3 - I have it and i apsolutely love it
the commanders hatch is what balances it have you ever taken on a platoon of hull down E3's? you straight up cant win unless the stuff up and expose some of there lower plate there is no way to damage them.

Super armor, once you get some mobility decent traverse speed for such super heavy, great firepower, and 8 degress of gun depression on the top of that like the tank itself wasnt depressing enough for its foes. E3 is a beast. E4 compromises so much armor its almost worthless especially if you are in an equal tier match. E3 over rotating turret capability thats what i say.
Turret is not that big bonus because its not turning 360, like the grille, i must say i hated the grille, aim is fast i had more than 100 games but all the shots i fired goes outside the circle! guess im not lucky, and grille is huge, it was so much fun to play with 8 and 9 tiers, E3 is realy fun and feel like a TD, in other hand E4 is much more like a heavy tank with horrible aim close combat

I use a turbo, rotation device and additional grousers - its so much fun when they try to flank me, then get confused at how they cannot actually get behind my tank lol

On paper I'd like the e3 or jagdpanzer e100 but their mobility is so bad it kills any damage out put. But it was 3 years ago no turbo and buffed equipment. E4 was just a big heavy tank that always performed
There is athing I don't understand: you want to brawl in both tank, so why piking aim time over accuracy on field mod? Accuracy is part of the gun stabilisation equation, so buffing it means your gun will snap better, fire better on the move and the aim circle will be already smaller if you need to aim, while aim time require you to stop and actually aim to see the benefit, so is quite situational IMHO.
The E4 was my first tier 10 on PC and Console WoT. I have the E3 only on PC, but it's probably my best tier 10. The E4 needs to be buffed for it to even be in the same league as the E3. The E4 is just a crappy version of the 60TP. Cupola weak point, turret cheek weak point, Gun Mantlet Weak point, Lower plate is completely cheese unlike the E3. It's gun handling is garbage and can't mount Vert Stabs because its a TD, View range is trash because it's a TD, semi traversable turret means it can still be circled easily. WG nerfed the E4 many many years ago and the game has power crept it years after that. TL;DR E3 is a slow but decent tank E4 is functionless in WoT thanks to power creep and the 60TP
Nah, the E4 pens almost everything, the armor is about as useful as any other armored TD with gold rounds being shot at it. You need to play it like a second-line heavy tank. It's very versatile.
@@TehButterflyEffect I never said it was unplayable. I was saying that a Tank the the 60TP makes the E4 redundant. The 60TP can stand up to gold rounds and the E4 can't stand up to standard rounds. I understand the play style of the vehicle, gave it 100 games to see what I thought, only managed a 50% winrate in it but I got an understanding of how it plays. The E4 just doesn't bring anything to the table, anything it's trying to do a different tank does and more. As for the "any other armored TD" part, the E3 doesn't care about gold rounds, been driving it in ranked and bouncing 4k, 5k, even 9k of gold, even at my cupola because it's RNG if they happen to hit the lower half or not. The E4 has mediocre mobility and poor armoring giving it a supporting role while other supporting tanks have fully traversable turrets and either better mobility, better gun handling, or both. It just doesn't have a role it excels in so I can't recommend it to anyone, unless they just love the way it looks. It's playable, it's just not good enough to be a good choice. Even look at WoTLife's statistics for it, it's 11th from the bottom by Win rate for a reason.
As an old tank commander myself just taking awesome I had hit that sucker eight or nine times with the tank I've had and I still did not win you are hundred percent right this is a monster of a tank
E3 has a fatal flaw that few take account for; it has 100mm of armor at the base of its gun mantle; if I see an E3, I face-hug it first thing I can if I'm in a V4, IS-7 or tanks of the like; solid tank though, definitely recommend; the lower plate is such a troll too, the armor profile of the lower plate might seem round, but the penetration angles are so weird
I like E4 better due to mobility. I had high respect on E3 users and I think most (or might say "all") would agree that it is better than E4 but E4 suites my play style.
suprised that dez doesnt know that rotation mechanism actually does not improve gun handling at all as the increased rotation speed counteracts the improved dispersion during that rotation. (this is what wargaming themselves said about that piece of equipment.)
I think it was blind Char Futur not Strv, E3 is sitting in my garage for about year because I loved T95 so much I didn't wanted to move the crew and also E4 is for me way worse than T30 because of lacking gun depresion on E4
I grinned target hard on the E4. Because it had a moving turret. I thought it was basically the same as the E3 but i was so very wrong xD i can't use the E4 as great as i used to use the lower tiers on that grind. So now I'm grinding for the E3.
E4 sucks imo, the only real thing it has going for it is its APCR round, that is about it. It's really sluggish, doesn't have a full turret, the armour is well basically 'what armour' and the gun trolls for days. Basically next to no point playing it compared to a 60tp which is about as mobile, has more HP, way better armour and the gun is actually better IMO because turret dispersion. The 60tp has 0.10, the E4 for some reason has 0.23, which is terrible, TOUCH the gun and you get massive bloom and then a long aim time, 60tp, it blooms WAY WAY less, so you can snap shot, you can aim in faster, you can just hit way more shots because you are not aiming for 5s every time you move. Oh and they have the same reload, because reasons. E4 needs some buffs, much more mobility would be nice, give it like E5 mobility for example and the DPM should be better, plus give it -8 gun depression, pretty much all the tanks leading up to the E4 have -10, and the it has -6 for some reason. Plus reduce that terrible turret dispersion, like 0.15 would not make it OP but much nicer to play.
actually what if instead of all of thoes they just gave it back the 850 damage per shot it used to have. so then it would actually be worth having some of these downsides for having a gun that slaps with high pen

The issue is it used to be one of the few 750 alpha turreted TDs, and only the E100 had 750 alpha, but now with the 60tp, semi-turreted tanks like the Grille doing 750 or FV4005 doing 1.7k with a turret and tanks like the Vz doing 1k in 2s, it's turreted high alpha niche is not really a niche.
@@TehButterflyEffect it's got 1.75k alpha with HESH and that is what 95% of people playing it use and I see it pen people all the time, even for 2k. It can also move its turret as much the E4 can, but the E4 has considerably less alpha damage.

IMHO The E3 is an almost complete upgrade from the T95 with similar frontal armor, better gun and mobility, and no top weak spot but worse side and rear armor. The E4 on the other hand is very much a downgrade from the T30 IMHO with the front hull armor and side and rear turret armor getting stronger and the gun getting better but the rest of the armor either staying the same or getting worse, a massive tumor on top of the turret and limited turret traverse.
when i played E3 EVERYBODY knew about the slivers of weakspots left and right of the drivewheels and i got shot into it 100% of the time all the time, i had to sell it because it became so horrible
I had that problem too but recently i started to get myself used to the round armor. If you turn your tank left or right depending where the enemy aims it becames a lot harder to penetrate
in summary based on my own experience with E4 - once spotted dead in 3 seconds by entire enemy team focus fire & no matter where they on map , somehow they have a shot on E4
E4 has a major problem call it paper cupola all can pen it and it ruins all games i have it and i don't play it i prefer t30 if they fix cupola like E3 then it could be more playble
E3 and E4 need cupola armor nerf to match the E5. or they need to buff the armor on the French TDs rangefinder. Rangefinder is too much of a weakpoint and does not allow for gameplay similar to other TDs

T110E4 was my second tier 10, and it's still my favorite. Best performer. For TDs, I also have the STRV 103, but it's way more situational and not nearly as versatile as the E4 is. Why do you carry so much HE though? HE is absolutely useless after The Great Arty Nerf.
E4 have garbage gun handling . This tank has many weak points. Snipering or pushing you will find same pain. Why ? Because the gun it's self is the biggest pain .
I honestly enjoyed making this video A LOT.. Maybe I should play more with those American Beasts!

i havent played E4 since they added all the new equipment and field mods but back in the day E4 was so bad.

My pet name for this tank is holdoor... I've had a 9000 combined game with 4600 bounce... Turbo makes it work.

Yeah the T30 is really good (with top gun), but the E4 is better. The E4 bounces more shots and has much better DPM.
i run the bonds mobility on the b1 concept with 55 kph,,,, and 27 hp/pt cause why not heavy tanks op yo

E3 is actually crap so... eh. #40 HEAT goes straight throught the shield around the gun
E-3 is a downgrade from the T95 IMO.
E4 have garbage gun handling . This tank has many weak points. Snipering or pushing you will find same pain. Why ? Because the gun it's self is the biggest pain .
