In my opinion Felicity's line "I shouldn't have married you" isn't expressing just one view point or emotion in that line, but several viewpoints and conflicting emotions and. On the one hand she feels like she had pinned him down and caused him to change who he is, the personality she fell in love with, and she feels a little guilty for pinning him down when he isn't one to normally settle down. That's not to say that she doesn't love who he's become in the interim, it's just that he has to fight against his nature and personality in order to be there properly for his family and not die performing some scheme. On the other hand, she is reciprocating the brutal honestly that Mr. Fox is showing in the scene while also vocalizing her internal realizations. She realizes that even though, Mr. Fox just promised that he wouldn't revert to his previous actions, eventually he would always start stealing and having life threatening adventures again and she if she had to start over she shouldn't have her son be exposed to that risk and have the high likelihood that he'd lose the father he's know all his life to something like that.
A really cool character point about foxy is how throughout the movie, he's saying that he's "a wild animal". But near the end of the movie, there's a scene on the bike where they see an actual wild animal, a wolf, out in the forest. This wolf doesn't walk upright, or wear clothes, and foxy realizes that he's not as wild as he keeps saying he is.
As a long time fan of Roald Dahl, I absolutely ADORE how much the movie captured the magic of the novel and added on some other unique features that I love. The voice of Mr Fox is EXACTLY how I imagined it😍
Yessss!!! It's a movie/animation style that you don't see often with the story doing well to keep you entertained but educational and executed well with the characters. Hope you're doing well and have a amazing day/night CJ! So yah!
I love how this mature Wes Anderson film is disguised as a children's film. Watching it as a kid, I was so intrigued by the natural voice acting, excellent music and stop motion imperfections that made the characters with fur look more alive, like their was a breeze in the air.
stop motion takes SO MUCH time and effort because you have to make everything you see on the screen. any movie that is stop motion I automatically have to love
My dad actually showed me this movie as a kid My dad always show me very old movies when I was younger and this was one of them we’ve loved this movie to the point we quote it all the time- And unlike me(sadly) my dad can do Mr Fox’s trademark(the whistle) The movie is really adorable and we always rewatch it
A film that is worth checking out is Wolf Children. It’s a Japanese animated film about a mother and her two kids and their joys and struggles with her kids special ability
Love this movie, all of the animal characters are enjoyable and the stop motion animation is creative. I like your review, it is humorous and straight forward honest review without changing a tone of your voice. Also, The Rat was a threatening and yet hilarious villain despite not being the main antagonist.
Fond memories of this movie. Most memorable, the guy with the chicken for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I actually don't remember much, but I remember it.
This movie is too good, I love characters like Mr. Fox, I wanted so badly as a kid to be that cool. Unfortunately, my family doesn't share my love for quirky stop motion films though, so I seldom revisit this masterpiece.
Wes Anderson has a VERY distinct style, and I usually really dig it. And not only is Fantastic Mr. Fox quite faithful to the source material, but a just plain genuinely great movie.
Yeah, this movie is pretty good. Certainly not one of my favorites, but it’s nice. I really appreciate that it’s stop-motion animated, it feels like that’s a dying animation art, which is really frustrating for me, because that style was how I first got into animation. And even though I do more 2D nowadays, I try to squeeze in some stop motion, because it’s really under appreciated. Also, hope you’re having a good time & that you’re doing well, Ros Mo! 🙂
When I was 15 years old, I saw The Fantastic Mr. Fox with my best friends, my high school classmates, and my high school teachers in the movie theater when we went on the field trip, and I was enjoying watching this movie, I found it boring at the beginning of this movie, and while I was watching the whole things, I finally found it funniest and amazing, and it was wicked awesome, and I took it back what I just said, and the truth is.... I really love this movie! What a good movie! And I found from the critic ratings from Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic, and I say this one of the best animated feature films ever! And I love it! I absolutely love it! 👍
Oh, Yeah, and I watched it on HBO channel with my mom and my twin sister, and my mom loves this movie too! She enjoyed it! Even my twin sister enjoyed it too!
At school nutrition break we watched fantastic mr.fox normally like the don't know why so yeah I already started moving but barely cuz I was like talking to everyone
Ohh this was my first Wes Anderson Movie, his directing style is so unique and the art type was so stylish and odd I love it. This Roahl Dahl book really translated well.
Omg! I saw this story at school and me and my class were obsessed with it! It was those types of story’s that are kept on your mind even after years. So when I saw, I intaintly clicked
Realizing that kids who saw this as a child are now likely a young adult. I was in my Freshman year of High School when this came out, and now I’m a year removed from finishing college. Man do I feel old
I first watched this when me and some online friends where doing regular virtual movie nights after the pandemic and I absolutely adore it. It’s both funny and serious and balances those very well. Every time they broke into they barn and danced was one part I found very funny
Thank you so much for allowing us to sponsor you and having a honest review of our music!

@@unaccompanied_minor2546 perhaps I should look into it and who knows I might become a fan of it
Yep loved it as a kid
I can’t help but love the humour and irony when ash says “why didn’t I get shot?” It’s just so good 😊
No because I was so annoyed of him as a kid and literally said “fine go walk out of the door^^”

THIS MOVIE IS AWESOME AND THE BOOK! (Also short story, my mom absolutely hated it but my dad was like it's fineeee, and now I love stop motion :>)
Why did she hate it?

This Movie is just Zootopia with an Beastar plot, Amazing. As I can say
I can see that, it was basically the prototype for both
I remeber watching this movie as a kid and not being able to sleep because I was scared of how the characters looked and now I simply love them😅😅

Plus I realized that Shaun the sheep is a smooth stop motion

Their voices are like like pure ASMR. Sometimes it’s awkward but it’s what makes it feel genuine

I faintly remember watching this movie when I was eight. I just thought I imagined the whole thing.
Omg! I saw this story at school and me and my class were obsessed with it! It was those types of story’s that are kept on your mind even after years. So when I saw, I intaintly clicked
