I have 2019 petrol amaze done 65000kms. In short, it is economical and comfortable in all aspects. I am commuting 70 kms a day to work, it gives 19km mileage with AC. I often do long trips of 500kms at one stretch, both driving and my old parents as passengers feel comfortable. In the highways there is no car in this segment at this level of comfort. No bodyroll at all and can cruise at 100 kms (only then 19km mileage is possible) with ease. People commenting about rear AC, this AC is same as we get in City. It is very powerful and no need of rear vent. Issues are some cheap plastics in the dashboard and ofcourse it won't give sudden acceleration.
- The big down is 2nd gear pickup with petrol variant. - AC has never been a problem, just missing rear AC vent doesn't meant cooling is not good. I can definitely say the best AC cooling in the sub 4 meter. - Car stability is good on highways till 110. - Best refinement from Honda which can't be matched by any other petrol cars in the segment. - 420 litres boot space, spacious cabin for 5 adults, Good audio system but not good as recent Tata's. Mic is really so clear for those who do calls with Bluetooth connectivity. - While I bought this it was very few cars which had Orvm and front doors request sensor which I feel as a big plus with 5year unlimited kms warranty and 4 years unlimited Road side assistance without any distance limitation which I have already used once. RSA for 4 years costed just 4k. - One more issue was ground clearance due to softer suspension which I got resolved with Rogerarb suspension buffer and now it's perfect.

Rear AC is not an issue in Amaze, Because AC air through is very powerful than any other car’s. I am using amaze for 8 years, The only problem is ground clearance.
Owning bs4 amaze since 2019, only problem is bad pickup. Done stage 1 remap to 98hp. Low rpm vibrations and second gear issue is solved. Honda themselves can do this easily ( but they won’t, just so city 4g and 5g sells). Gearing is very tall can do 95 to 100 on 3rd gear all day in highways also. Old people or people upgrading from 06 Santro or alto will heavily enjoy this.
@@venkatesha7341 yes it will reduce vibrations at start of vehicle movement. For instance : While you start at first gear when you let go of clutch there will be a vibration where the engine tries to move the vehicle on idle. The remap fixed it. However you still have to downshift for overtakes and max speed will be limited to 140( you can do chime remove and high speed delete as well, which is however not recommended). Remap didn’t do drastic improvement like turbo petrol or diesel but in case of amaze evidently reduces the jerks and hesitant from engine to pull ahead is completely gone.
@@harishbabu3042 it depends on our driving style. After the remap I went for a goa drive, up and down 2000kms where the meter showed average of 14.8kMpl . Full 5 passengers and luggage was there. Decent enough for me . I was also doing 130 ish speeds for most of the time.

Amaze CVT is much better than manual bro. Nice pickup and have sport mode in cvt. I got 16km mileage in hills station. Smooth Engine, Comfort, AC all are Really amazing AMAZE. 🥰 Manual is not get pickup in city road also. Go for CVT it's worth for low cost CVT lists.

The review tone sounded bit negative.. It is a butter smooth car with zero noise. It is reliable and hassle free once you get used to its clutch and gear patterns.The car wont race fast in 1st and 2nd gear like a polo but it has a great steering response. In long term he will realize its niceties.

owner of same variant but cvt , cant agree more with reviewer..its peaceful car...zero noise... 90 percent is city usage so it was ideal choice for me..in highway mileage i was able to get 20 driving around 60 to 80...sports mode in cvt is powerful which help in climbing...
Hey I am also in deciding stage. Considering Baleno or Amaze. I test drived honda city also but as it is my first car, it seems a bit lengthy. Budget isn't a problem but CVT for Amaze is around 11.5 and city v model CVT is around 16. In CVT does the rubber band effect give more trouble in longer run ?

Ground clearance is 170mm which is good when compared to cars with 165mm clearance. r15 to r16 if we upgrade then aspect ratio of the tyre will be changed....and the performance remains the same if same 175/65 r 16 is used then mileage will be reduced and the apt size would be r16 175/60....it also has 1% deviation . So R 16 or r 15 doesn't make big change in performance
Petrol means Honda.. None can match the refinement levels, sometimes i forget put ignition during it was engine was running.. It will surprise you on refinement and reliabilty, In US Honda and Toyota is leader and masters in engine dept.. I have Honda Jazz 5.5 years old touch hood superb.. 👍🏻
Suzuki and Hyundai also best refined engines brother...in those also we can't find whether iginition is on or off unless we see the rpm meter... power is good in honda engines when v tech kicks in.

I have the Amaze CVT. its little underpowered . rest i dont have any complaints. The arm rest has storage space. Ground clearance is decent. I had etios before and it used to scrap speed breakers. but in Amaze havent faced that yet. AC is great. family sitting in back never complained about it. I am enjoying the drive.

Engine alone we can buy then... Steering wheel is very tight , no rear ac, no head adjustable rest, ground clearance poor , pickup not great , suspension, head can hit top in some case, 6+ feet guys not allowed to enter rear, sluggish 2nd gear pickup in hills... Dont buy this and suffer ....

Gud vehicle butter smooth driving even if u go for 1000 km u won't feel tiredness , rear ac vent doesn't require since ac flow is gud enough towards back seat .mileage highways will be 19 kms if u go between 80 to 100, city drive 8 to 10 will be there , one more thing is that cruise control is fantastic in highways drive
Pick up is a big concern for driving enthusiasts, but very good all-rounder in the segment. In fact I'm getting 18.6.kmpl. It gives me 20 in highway without AC and speed between 70-80.
Even when u r not a enthusiast u vil get irritated when pickup is low in traffic conditions... nobody is gonna maintain at 70 to 80 in highways unless they r 60 plus aged drivers and nobody will drive without AC in hot weather of tamilnadu

the user speaks as if i20 is equivalent of amaze, dude i20 is a premium hot hatchback and it's length is same as compact sedans, it also powerful , feature rich than any compact sedans.. i20 is a upgrade if you move from amaze itself.
I20 is powerful? In what way? I20 1.2 Kappa is the one you can compare in this budget and Hyundai 1.2 is weaker in i20 than amaze. Comfort and space wise amaze is far better

Hello, can’t agree more with you, swift gives more features like tweeters and flat bottom steering wheel but the sturdy fit and finish and the drive feel of amaze is unmatchable. (Upgraded from 6 years old Dzire to amaze).
Owner of CVT in local 10 to 11 In highway solo driving I was able to get around 21 and 22 but with luggage and four person I am getting 17 we need to use paddle shifters intelligently to get high mileage as it decides the gear ratio

Amaze good family car not for rough driving.. ,nice comfort and smooth especially in highways.. But sudden changing in 3rd and 4th gear slightly lacks it's pickup speed. I don't know about Balena.. It's better to take test drive both car's
Also mileage is 13 - 14 in city if you drive properly it will also give you 15 . In highway gives 17-18 . Diesel version will give 16- 17 even in city traffic and 20 in highway. If you have budget buy the diesel 1.5 one, its more power than petrol 1.2 Even the automatic version gives a similar mileage as to manual one. Automatic will be good for city .

As he said, it is not for driving enthusiasts, it is a family sedan car. ground clearance higher > stability - lower. ground clearance lower > stability higher. weight of the vehicle also plays a vital role in this. the car should be around 1.5 tons with bigger wheels and can have high ground clearance. upon its pickup - nowadays all the 1.2, 1.0 engines don't have any initial pick up. may 10% difference from max to max.

Not for driving enthusiasts?? I drive VX CVT version. It has sports mode with 7 speed paddle shifters and with iVTEC engine. This car is very quick and fast and you can feel iVTEC kicking in after 4500rpm. But manual version seems to have low pickup.

A very very biased review I have ever seen on the channel. A huge follower of this channel for a long time and I purchase Honda amaze seeing Birla’s last amaze review. It is one of the most comfortable and best in segment vehicle. The whole conversation and tone of the video seems very negative. Don’t know why. Also, I have driven close to 30,000 Kms in around 1 year itself and been to 3-4 hill trips. It is highly soothing and reliable. Also a misinformation - There was no LED light in the previous version. But specifically he has told no changes in light. Which is wrong

It doesn’t mean there is no pickup. It drives so smooth that is all. I get 10-12 Kms in city bumper to bumper. And between 16-20 based on speed on highways

I just sold 2019 v petrol variant, very bad pickup and delay in acceleration very bad city car but a gem in the highway. Going for maruti k12 series.

Even when u r not a enthusiast u vil get irritated when pickup is low in traffic conditions... nobody is gonna maintain at 70 to 80 in highways unless they r 60 plus aged drivers and nobody will drive without AC in hot weather of tamilnadu

No need to rear AC vent .as the AC is very powerful.even at fan speed 1 it gives great and quick coolness. So it's not needed in this car

Also mileage is 13 - 14 in city if you drive properly it will also give you 15 . In highway gives 17-18 . Diesel version will give 16- 17 even in city traffic and 20 in highway. If you have budget buy the diesel 1.5 one, its more power than petrol 1.2 Even the automatic version gives a similar mileage as to manual one. Automatic will be good for city .
I don't understand how fitting 16 inch wheels improve performance of the car, for all I know, a smaller profile tyre gives better ride quality.

upon its pickup - nowadays all the 1.2, 1.0 engines don't have any initial pick up. may 10% difference from max to max.

Not for driving enthusiasts?? I drive VX CVT version. It has sports mode with 7 speed paddle shifters and with iVTEC engine. This car is very quick and fast and you can feel iVTEC kicking in after 4500rpm. But manual version seems to have low pickup.

@@BK1997ap it is in the driver’s legs to use it the right way. This vehicle’s usp is the smoothness and the comfort. So Honda has wantedly made sure it doesn’t go all of a sudden. It doesn’t mean there is no pickup. It drives so smooth that is all.
I get 10-12 Kms in city bumper to bumper.
And between 16-20 based on speed on highways
