On the subject of story, what happened in the boss conversation at 51:44? It’s clear there’s some sort of connection between Tsagaan and that guy, but I don’t know exactly what aside from them both being nomads. Does the conversation say much about Tsagaan’s character or backstory?
@@randomwizard2971 it's not too deep into backstory. they are both manservants of saya (lorca tribe) and tsas(arthuran tribe) respectively. togril (or called toggle here) mentions that it has been 5, 6 years since they last saw each other. tsagaan wont allow him to lay a finger on saya and will protect her with her life. togril here seems to attempt to assassinate saya in the middle of rescuing bulgar civilians from bern arrest, hence his event taking place after routing bern soldiers. he attempted this so tsas isnt burdened with clashing with her old friend saya in battle. (this was a previous chapter cutscene)
Aw Arman is so doughy-eyed. Bless. This map... looks unfinished. Like they had a plan for the prisoner escape portion but forgot to put features down on the bottom left corner. I get that it's meant to be sort of a downward slope but it really sticks out unfavorably compared to the big snowfield map.
Welcome to Chapter 14. Bern has gathered a bunch of civilians and is planning to send them to prison on bogus charges. Now that a battle's broken out, they're not afraid to use them as meat shields. Eventually "Toggle" decides to show up to try and capture/kill Saya. He's actually a pretty decent guy as far as I can tell, even if his loyalties are misplaced. As for people who *aren't* that decent, we got Arman. He's a thief who got caught in the crossfires much like those civilians. The soldier is threatening to sell him into slavery because no country's going to accept a thief. Even as he's being recruited, he takes the time to steal Saya's wallet... or fantasy wallet equivalent. Yeah, he's kind of an ass.
The highlight of this episode was Jeff actually one-rounding something.
1:11 Pandan comparing stats between Sergei and Trakina:
“Nah dude Con best stat, I want him wielding a bolting and not getting doubled”
Watching your videos is a highlight in my day, love your commentary
yeah this map is long. saya mentions the “sound of cavalry” when you rout the bern soldiers. now next map is operation save dayan.
