Just swimming with harmless jellies must be a cool experience. It looks so peaceful.
For me it doesnt, i love swimming but hate those things
For me as long as the jellies aren't venomous I'm good
@@arch455 they still sting (not these ones ofcouse)
Yes but I have a real big fear of jelly’s
Yeah I know right

They do but their stings are barely noticeable
I'm glad someone got the Finding Nemo reference! :-)

8:19 Jonathan has one jellyfish stuck against his shoulder and it's the cutest thing I've ever seen...
OMG! A jellyfish without stinging cell can be the most adorable thing in the world!!
Thanks for sharing the beautiful and amazing thing of the Blue World.
You are the best!
好吃的吗
I had the experience to swim there, something i will never forget. Palau is such a diving paradise.
Only regret is that I had no underwater camera or any picture of the jellyfish lake, only memories.
That sucks
8:22 - 8:27
Just casually carrying a jellyfish on his left shoulder
Jellyfish - “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA”
It’s how jellyfish vibe
Ahhhhhhhh! AhAHAHaH
I wonder if any divers had to die to figure out that there was hydrogen sulfide on the bottom of a lake.
Only one. After that everybody saw the dead guy and said, "Nope not going down there."
@@SolidStateSoul I didn't sign up for this.
Maybe not at that one specifically, but that phenomenon occurs in other places with distinct layers of still water, and it does kill divers. It happens in brine pools on the ocean floor, which can be filled with dead fish and crabs, and I believe it occurs in some cenotes (water filled caves) in the Yucatan peninsula.
Br3ttM u did ur research all right!! 😄
I think Jelly Lake sounds much better!
Jiggly lake
Imagine hugging a jellyfish [i don’t think that would really end well 😑]
I've seen two prior "professional" documentaries that included this lake and its jellyfish as part of their content (BBC and NatGeo). Neither of them had anywhere near the amount of information your video above includes. I thought I knew a lot about this lake, but your video showed me just how much I didn't know. Thanks for the info and scenery!
Thanks!
What 2 documentaries were they specifically. Just curious.
We all know NatGeo bs sometimes tho
*I have long lived vicariously through Jonathan and his crew!!*. They take me places I would never see myself. *THANK YOU JONATHAN, et al.!!!*
Thanks for watching!
there are few lakes like this in Indonesia, with lot of stingless jellyfish too, but we are prohibited to swim with fins

I love how you film with a clear narration background. It is entertaining and not destructing your viewers
3 episodes in less than 10 hours,i swear this thing is addictive ❤️
You can do better than that! ;-)
This is my dream! I have heard so much about this place from good friends of mine. Heard the natives are so sweet and helpful. Can't wait to go.
Joathan **swimming through jellyfish**
Jellyfish “can you stop bumping into me”
ey ey ey I'm photosynthesizin' here!
You know Johnathan your the reason I started scuba diving, thank you
Yay!!
It's definitely in my bucket list to swim in these jellyfish lake one day. Another great vdo as always!
Como tu . leboiaser.
Why do people dislike this? They obviously don’t like to learn.
i have been there many times, it is wonderful.
A very interesting ecology of this unique ecosystem of the blue world. Thank you Jonathan.
Thanks for introducing me to diving, it made me pursue dive training and now I've just past my PADI Openwater! Thanks again, you guys are AWESOME!!
6:45 Hahaha! First time I'm hearing the use of the Wilhelm scream in a nature documentary. Brilliant, Jonathan! :D
LOL...we sneak it in all over the place. ;-)
Thank you for doing this ❤️ god is so wonderful!
This is so cool! Jellyfish unique to one lake ecosystem is really interesting and kind of similar in my mind to certain cave fauna that are unique to only one cave. Keep up the good work!
This is the first time i heard about harmless jelly fish. Where have you been Jonathan ? We missed you .
I have been watching Jonathan Bird since I was 7 or 8.
I always thought the lake was only jellyfish. I didn't know there was a lot of stationary animals and small fish in the lake too!
There is all kinds of stuff in there.
@@BlueWorldTV On the Love Nature channel it shows a Golden Bell Jellyfish caught by an anemone. Do anemones live the lake too?
Man I don't even know swimming, yet your videos just make me want to go scuba Diving😍
Yay. Been having to get my Blue World fix on Amazon Prime. Miss the more frequent uploads, but I understand.
Those jellies are so cute and beautiful! I wanna poke one so bad 😆
I HAVE to visit there someday!!!!! 😍😍

Very well put together, Jonathan, beautiful reportage. Thank you

Anemones have to eat too!

Jonathan bird i've been watching the videos ever since i was 5 and now that I am nine it brings back memories when i watch your videos
Also cool 😎 that they don’t sting 😁😁😊
Blue world TV is the best.. Jonathan is superb❤️
Thanks!
Usually after I see you dive somewhere I think how amazing it would be to dive there. But after having some painful run ins with jellyfish, seeing you swim through them makes me cringe haha. I know they’re harmless, but the instinct is still there haha
FINALLY A NEW VIDEO JONATHAN! It's hard to wait
Awesome educational video... Thanks Jonathan.
I love to watch like this. I learn more from the ocean.

Thank y'all for bringing us great & educating videos,
Chris from Missouri
hello sir jonathan I've been waiting your new video for a long time..thank you for this amazing video.
I also want to see what the anoxic layer looks like at the bottom of the lake, as well as the maze of tunnels that let water in. There is something about isolated ecosystems that differ from the surrounding environment that is captivating.
Thank you so much! This video inspired my biology assignment about Jellyfish Lake! Fascinating!
Glad it was helpful!
All your diving footage is sooo amazing!
Yaaay! Best thing today... coming home from job and opening youtube to a new magical video 😍 thank you

This wass so informative ..n incredible I watched all your videos...love it🤗
Im a fan since I was a young kid. Love watchingggg your videos!
So wild how they have been there for so long, cut off from the ocean that is just a few feet away. Two different worlds, side by side. I'm pretty interested in learning about the fish that live in that lake. Are they unique species as well?
SUPER interesting. I want MORE. Keep it up !!
More to come!
Happy 2020 Blue World Team!
Beautiful creatures who live a very simple life. Who knows if they are 'happy' but one day we might find out.
Welcome to our beautiful country Jonathan Bird and company... Happy new year

Hey Jonathan great to see another fantastic episode! My Mom and her hubby are on a cruise and one of their stops is one of your earlier episode destinations, Curacao!
Greetings from Finland!🇫🇮
For me they are the most beautiful creatures in Sea . I am glad they didn't sting Jonathan
Me too!
@@BlueWorldTV 😊
Wow stunning nature 😍😍
Today it`s also forbidden to use sunscreen in Palau!
Yeah, it's bad for the coral out in the ocean, and it's bad for the jellyfish in the lake.
@@BlueWorldTV That's right
@@BlueWorldTV is Julia minchaves there
There is locally made reef-safe sunscreen sold in drugstores and gift shops here
