The village of Peaceful Valley in Kharkiv region was one of the first to encounter Russian aggression. Anna and Vasyl stayed in the village and assisted Ukrainian soldiers during the fighting around their village. The couple helped the soldiers with resettlement, fed them, and assisted reconnaissance in complex situations.
