Today’s bit of (self-) amusement is a song I saw performed live on SNL one night in 1976, a song I’d never heard before, sung by someone I’d never heard of before. I was mesmerized. Bought the album the next day at Tower and still play it. It’s the very talented Joan Armatrading’s LOVE AND AFFECTION. Hope you can dig it.
