I met a girl that worked in back of a bar that was disabled. She did the paper work and made sure everyone had their drinks. I sat at the bar and she caught me looking at here. And I said your cute! Soon I went to her bar every day and when she wasn't busy we would talk. She told me she was lonely. She has 2 children and was divorced 12 years ago. She's 40 now and at 20 she was hurt really bad on motorbike. No one wanted someone divorced and 2 children. Then add her disability, and no one really wanted her. But I found her just an amazing woman, and I'm coming back to spend 2 more months this Sept. with her. I do help her a little each month. She didn't ask, I just wanted to. There really is some wonderful women in Thailand. I think you helping this girl was great thing to do. A big thumbs up!

Girls have four options if they come to Pattaya. Option 1 is if they are professionally qualified and can get a government job. Option 2 is if they have a friend that can get them a good job at a hotel Option 3 is 'selling their body' aat any of the bar or agogo places Option 4 is a 300 Baht a day job in a massage place or low end food place.
Pattaya mainly runs on Tourism. And tourists buy "fun", housing and food. Thats where the biggest job-markets are. But there are also a bunch of smaller job-markets.

Sadly neither have I, as unlike many visitors to Thailand, I actually like Thai people.
