It looks like it is indeed 180 days per entry, not per year. If anything changes, we'll keep you updated.

After getting a DTV visa, how does a spouse travel with the DTV holder?

No one seems to answer the question about traveling on DTV for medical purposes. Do I need to get a medical appt for every time I enter Thailand for 5 years?

Can this only be applied online or within Thailand?

You can apply either online or through a Thai embassy. Once approved, you'll need to enter Thailand to get the visa stamped at immigration.

Hello , to apply for DTV under soft power, how long the course of study or training should be to get approval ? 6 month , one year ? For Mauy Thai for example?!
I want to Buy a course but i need to be sure first? Anyone know ? HELP

Be warned, if you choose soft power you will be required to enroll and attend courses for the duration of your visa. If you think a 6 month Muay Thai course will get you a 5 year visa you are sadly mistaken. T.I.T. Too many fraudulent documents floating around, BOI will step in shortly.

I don't recommend you committing to any package type of course Unless you are sure you want to train at that particular gym for that amount of time. .. As for the DTV Visa, My understanding is that, All you need to show you are register to a participating gym to practice May Thai. My guess is that Gyms may have their own minimum number of days that they would like you to attend. Either way, you my friend will get to stay in Thailand for 5 years training Muay Thai for sure. Best of luck.

you are repeating everything we already know. not just for dig nomads. activities!! besides muay Thai and non existent music festivals! there are so many scuba and snorkeling boats shops that would benefit from being included. find out and report something others haven’t already covered to infinity.
