It's the opposite for me when trollying around the S16 Pro. When it's powered on having the kickstand face forward feels more balanced. When it's off I like to have the the kickstand face backward and the weight drooping down.
When i ride my gloves make the handle very slippery. Ive tried facing it forward and reversing the push orientation. It feels off. I could take my gloves off but thats such a hassle.
oh wow 16x is golden)
the 16x is a nice wheel, even though its an older wheel, its super reliable. the S18 one is up now ruclips.net/video/mcVRUw9NKNg/видео.html
the S18 is nice but i don't find it has much torque when comparing it to the s16pro. S18 is a cruiser not a off road machine.
waiting on my Begode Falcon next month
Awesome video. Are the pedals on both pretty much same height? Thank u
The s16pro pedal height is slightly higher because of the suspension.
Kingsong now has 18XL V2, which includes spiked pedals and power pad protrusions on the upper pads. I don't know if there will be a 16X V2.
Nice. I was going to buy a 18xl. But I decided to go for the 16x becuause i already had s18
Spike pedal make such a difference going over bumps. Are you enjoying yours?
@@kintips - yes. I'm just a hobbyist, riding about 40 to 50 miles per month on private streets near my home or nearby paved bike paths. I'm an old guy (72 years old), but in decent shape. I chose the 18XL because it's known to be stable (low pedals, 2.5 inch wide tire). Those private streets are cambered so a wider tire could be an issue. I took it up to 25 mph once to verify it isn't prone to speed wobbles, but mostly ride around 15 to 18 mph.
Hello,
Thank you very much for this video.
How is the seat fixed on the s16? Is it just fitted?
The seat is velcroed on so it is removable. I beleive this is the offical seat from kingsong its very comfy
Hey i saw your video where you riding? Its really nice. What wheel are you riding? Is it the mcm5 v2?
@@kintipsthanks so much, no it's a KingSong KS16S, and i riding in France (Le canal du midi), it's a French waterway hand-dug 250 km long, from Toulouse to the Mediterranean, between 1666 and 1681, it is magnificent.
@@kintipsI'm thinking of buying the seat, especially to protect the top of the wheel in the event of a fall. Isn't that too massive?
@@Daniel-fz7enyes thats the whole reason i bought the seat, to protect the top of the s16pro. The seat is totally worth it super comfy. That place is pretty nice and not busy at all
how is 16x way cheaper, they cost about the same in EU 😮
Well in canada its $1999 for 16x and $2800 for s16 regular, some places sell s16pro for $2800- $2999
Some places sell used 16x for $1500
@@kintipswow, in eu s16 is 2k€ and 16x also, depending on the shop there might be 100ish € diff
@@joelbadmintoncali $2k Euro is like $3K CAD, i would not pay $3K for a 16x. You should come over and buy a 16x lol (problem you can't take it on a plane, you'd have to ship it to yourself lol). But if those 2 are the same price, hands down i would get the S16. (how are shops in the EU going to sell 16x if the s16 is the same price?)
@@kintips😮 beats me 🤷♂️
