You turned my offense who after 9 games in was ranked 81, I used those 2 qb plays, those are game changing.I finished my season each game averaging over 500 yards. Made me a completely different player, and recruiter.
I have a question... I typically just ask Corso when playing and just pick from those options. Why is it when I use a custom playbook it picks the same plays over and over again? Am I doing something wrong?
@@AARon-fe1mo it's in dynasty. When you start dynasty there are are several tabs. Just flip them until you come to "coaches information". Note... I'm talking about the same plays being called when you put game on autopilot and let the CPU call plays. And you watch like a spectator.
Great Vid. Can you make a video or link a list that has every formation and every play you have in your playbook out of each formation? I'm trying to copy all the plays but the video doesn't show them all.
@@JohnEads When I created the 06 Chargers I substituted all the Ace formations for Pistol, since that formation is a 1 & 2 RB set. I forgot what based I used but dug that PB a lot
There’s over 300 plays in the booklet and I use maybe 75 of them in rotation…the video would’ve been over 45 minutes if I showed you the entirety of the playbook. It’s like a toolbox, you’ve got everything you need but it doesn’t mean you use all of the tools regularly.
One thing you can do on defense, is call an audible on the line switching from Man coverage to zone coverage and vice versa. Mixing in Man/Zone blitz from 4-3 and 4-4 sets. Also Cover 2 man under/Cover 2 man under SPY and Tampa 2 out of Nickel and Dime packages. Also bring your safeties down like its Cover 0 or Cover 1 but really be in Cover 2 man under or just some kind of Zone/Zone blitz can confuse the offense. If their are passing deep alot Quarters Cover 4 should at least stop a deep pass but give up the shorter yardage routes. Switching between cover 2 and cover 3 and cover 2 blitz and cover 3 blitz is a decent strategy. Not sure if it works well against humans in NCAA 2014, but those concepts in general work to keep the offense a little bit guessing what the coverage is. A lot of the offensive plays in 14 are extremely strong so defense would be a big struggle against someone who knows how to read pre-snap if the coverage is in man or zone. Switching between passive and aggressive defense plays constantly so you are not predictable on the defensive side is usually a good idea.
@@JohnEads also when you create your own playbook, the CPU calls goal line formations in the red zone( and other parts of the field).....that are not in the playbook one created.
@@MCfact1827 yeah those are at your disposal but I prefer to run wildcat than goal line. It’s when the running back takes a direct snap. It makes football 11 v 11 and not 10 v 11 and it’s easier to score in the red zone in my opinion.
Thks John. I can’t stop the flag routes to the outside or any thing . It’s ridiculous. Started using your play book and doing better offensively now I just need to stop somebody. Lol

whats your base playbook or show me a link to your actual playbook?

Glad you’re pumping out content🙌🏽
What base did you use for this book? This is one hell of book. When this was out on PS3 I had created the 06 Chargers PB

When allowing the cpu to call plays...it tends to call the same offensive plays repeatedly..How do you stop that from happening?
