Hi Angie! Do you have a video that follows up to this one that shares what you like/didn't like? If I remember correctly, I don't believe you are using this anymore and would like to hear your thoughts on it and why you switched (if you switched). Thank you!
Near the beginning you mention a couple of your other videos I should watch first. Could you link those for me? It didn't work to click on the icons in the video itself.
This was so helpful!! I was having hard time seeing how it worked together and this made it click I’m my head! Look forward to hearing how you like it later this year. My kids are younger so it’s nice to see you go through ahead of time
I love homeschooling resources, too! After your switch-up video I ordered the two SCM resource books and am working my way through Hearing and Reading... as well. I really appreciate the walk-through of the level 1 texts, it looks like a solid but gentle program. I look forward to seeing how y'all progress with it. -Anne
I really enjoyed this video. This curriculum is so tempting for me but I’m going to try to not buy anything and focus on finishing everything I’ve bought throughout these last couple of years when it comes to extra resources and even extra curriculum. It’s so tempting though
I use Sonlight for History/Bible/Lit, Science, and language arts and then supplement Using Language Well/Spelling Widsom for a bit more language arts. I only use Abeka for phonics.
This is so helpful! I so want to buy curriculum from simply charlotte mason but we are secular and it’s so difficult to know if religious themes are incorporated. If you have time could you let me know if u think a secular homeschool mama could use these? (I’m happy to edit a bit but I don’t have it in me to rework extensively)
I would say it is pretty Christian ... at least at the beginning, we didn't make it too far. I would recommend checking out the review video by Rooted in Rest, maybe she shows more of the program.
Thanks! I too am starting to follow a more natural approach for my 7 year old. I have been really into Ambleside Online lately and these resources could be great to go along with it.
Thank you! This was extremely helpful
You are very welcome!
Thank you for making this video❤
You're very welcome!

I can’t remember the exact videos I linked but you can find them by clicking on the description box and scrolling to the bottom 😊
@@sciencemamaOh! I see them. Thank you!
Thank you for this video, I have been wondering about that curriculum 😊

I feel you can't go wrong with Charlotte Mason products. They are so rich and full. 🌻
Agreed!

How are you like Hearing and Reading?
I love SCM picture studies! We’re doing Genesis right now. 😊
I am still curious about SCM history!
Hey there! I'm thinking about purchasing the language and spelling. Are you guys still using them?
No, it really didn't fit my son - I loved the philosophy but he HATED it!!
@@sciencemama Okay! What did you switch to?

Understand that!!
We are doing Monet right now too :)
Do you use Sonlight for core, Abeka for language arts and apologia for science?

Can you link the assessment to determine the right level? I can’t find it on their site.
I watched this video by SCM, it was really helpful for placement! ruclips.net/video/Odavnxj66zU/видео.html
@@sciencemama thank you!
Have you heard of learning languages through literature? How would that compare to this?
I've heard of it, but I've never used it!
