ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.
The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.
This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.
Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

This is a very smart audition. She showed the colors of her voice, but left everyone wanting more. You know she has so much more to give.
Oh yes. She has more cards to play ... and I believe they will be royal flushes. My gawd ... JaRae can SING. And hold the room enrapt. Love love her version of this song. Can't speak for anyone, much less the legends that have passed, but, I'd like to think Amy Winehouse would really appreciate this version of her classic.

So many singers try to cover "Back to Black," and my reaction is almost always, "Oh, I miss Amy Winehouse so much. No one comes even close to her artistry and originality." JaRae's version here is amazing, because she makes such a distinctive song her own, adding her own emotional colors and interpretation. I almost never love an Amy Winehouse cover, but I love this one. Outstanding!

She's exquisite and the producers did her so wrong by montaging her battle with Lila. They literally stole what would have been millions of views from her and from Lila, Caleb, and Talakai, too. They should at least let the artists have the uncut footage of themselves. Really shocked and disappointed in the producer's editing skills.

Jarae has an amazing voice! Perfect song choice for her and she slayed that! One of the best blind auditions this season! She's going all the way to the finale and there's no what if. She's going to be in the finale no matter what regardless. We'll be seeing her there hands down. That was so warm, musical, dramatic, and emotional. I feel like drinking her with lots of hot cocoa and whipped cream, butter and popcorn, Hershey bars with chocolate syrup and whipped cream, cookies. So sweet.

Wow!!! I don’t think I ever felt that song so deeply!!! It was so real; so tangible; so believable. I got lost in the story and the drama (like JOhn said) and it gave me chills, even as I watched for a 2nd time.
