I'm a color consultant working with natural harmonies and I find it extremely unprofressional that Julia decides in the beginning that Valeria's a spring without checking different shades. She should be bringing up loads of different shades and just decide the season at the end. Also, I've been following Valeria for aaages and I think she has a great eye for fashion and has a great instinct of what suits her. She looks super harmonious in khakis, beiges, soft greens, warm soft pinks and burgundys, she is amazing in everything that we refer to as "soft autumn palette". I don't believe she needs the brightness of a warm spring, she defo looked more like her in the autumn palette. She has a very soft warm olive skin tone, her eyes are also not that striking. She can also make summer colours work on her because of the softness, warm springs can't really pull those off. Of course Valeria is beautiful in everything and I can also be wrong based on pictures but Julia did not convince me based on the video, sorry 😅
I am not a professional too, but I think so too... And I think, it's not Valeria's color... Of course, Valeria can wear everything 😁 but no, this color is not the right choice for her...
@@amethia34300 yeah it's a totally cool blue. but Valeria can pull many things off, that suit would work for her because it's light and soft (and I see her as a soft autumn wich is soft+warm+more on the lighter side), of course it's not her best colour but she does not always need to wear her best colours. colour consulting should not be restrictive, it should make you understand colour theory and why things work and how you can make them work if they are out of your palette. actually if we are talking warm blues, I believe the duck egg blue Julia paired with the green would be an amazing blue for Valeria, but we should see that colour compared to cooler blues like periwinkle, that's how we could see the difference. when doing colour consulting it is always best to compare colours that are similar in some ways (e.g. same saturation, same lightness, different temperature) - this way the difference actually shows. comparing that green to the duck egg blue simply does not make a lot of sense. this consultation simply lacked proper colour theory.
I don't have much of an eye for color. But more often than not, when I watch these color analyses I kinda see their point. This time, I just can't see the magic. Valeria never actually seemed "washed out" with any particular color. I feel like it may make sense on some people, but on others, most colors just look great, and Valeria is one of them!
Totally agree. I clicked on the comments, before even watching the video, because I was already disagreeing with the thumbnail 😂. But, usually, I see the magic too. Not this time
Nah. I used to follow this color consultant lady and a lot times she’s just not accurate. Valeria is clearly a summer. The fact that she said that blue blazer is a warm blue just made me 🤯 That blazer is not a warm blue (and therefore looks great on Valeria).
valeria is not a summer.... i remember when she went to a russian salon and they made her a cool violet makeup.... it wasnt making her stand out despite the eyess (because they are green)
@@AgileStylingno, you’re missing key things: light and bright is essential to warm spring. Warm spring might be “muted” compared to true spring but its primary feature is not muted. Valeria has so much softness in her colors and features, she’s neutral, (warm spring isn’t neutral at all), she has a lot of gray. She is definitely a soft autumn leaning soft summer. When most people don’t agree with your analysis there’s something there. You can’t even get that the blazer was cool blue. That blazer had zero yellow in it. I’m sure you’re a lovely person but ultimately people are calling this out because you are a person selling something, and people need to know the product color analysis people are selling can be off.
I've watched tons of colour analysis videos and this is without a doubt the most chaotic and unclear of all. It's almost like a follow-up video of a proper one that was done off camera; like the viewers are supposed to already know what season Valeria is and why. Not sure why this Julia is so popular; I've seen her do an analysis of a couple of other people and she was just as unconvincing at explaining things.
I’m a doctor, and having cut through skin I never happened to see that layer of colour between skin and muscle. Not in the operating room and not in the anatomy textbooks. I’m all for colour analysis though
I feel like Valeria is more of an autumn because that palette made her really glow! She looks better in gold jewellery than silver, so is warm - she still looks gorgeous in the warm spring palette though!
I agree. The light blue blazer is definitely a cool one. Altough I'm a cool winter, this blue is one of my colors and also in summer colors because it'a a cool blue.
She’s a soft season. I see her in between soft autumn and soft summer. Definitely not a spring at all 😭😭😭 a spring is bright and warm. Valeria has a bright personality, that’s true, but let’s not confuse it for her palette, lol 😂
Warm spring actually has medium to low contrast but high intensity, so I think the contrast is just right, soft isn't the only thing that's low in contrast. It also depends on the quality of the skin, her skin doesn't look muted at all, rather it "reflects". She also has fully warm skin undertone so it's not possible for her to be soft, deep or bright because the undertone would be neutral.
Am I getting something wrong here? When Julia said that the pink shade is not your color and those pictures were popping up with you wearing pink, I actually love it. Were you wearing a different, more suitable shade of pink then or were those pictures actually a negative example? Same goes with the burgundy - love the big burgundy coat. But maybe it's just my conception :) You look stunning in everything in my opinion
Of course, Valeria looks great in every possible color :) The hot pinks are too overpowering and go against her natural coloring. She definitely has to make that work for her. Same with burgundy. Val has burgundy in her palette, but it is warmer though
Spring colors are based on white, and, therefore, this blue doesn't have yellow in it. Also, please don't forget that the lightening here was not ideal
I’ve been wanting to see your color analysis for sooo long, I eventually asked you on Q&As on insta a few times. 😂 However, naming the lady naming that blazer a warm blue and seeing how beautiful you look in cool colors.. I am not so convinced 😩
I'm not seeing what Julia is, but oh well lol. Springs typically have more contrast in their features. If Valeria is actually a warm undertone id vote a soft autumn. If she's cool, then a cool summer. She's always gorgeous though. This is definitely not a science and just an opinion..even if the person giving the service is a "professional."
I have to admit I didnt see the washing out part. Valeria you look beautiful Russian in the deep reds and burgundy it brought out the winter porcelain skin with your make up and summer clothes you look great in peachy nude tones. I think you have aneutral neutral undertone so I guess the easiest way to wear all the colours you like is to mix your undertone colour in all shades.
I've done the color analysis in Italy and I follow many professionals who offer it... This girl doesn't look or feel professional at all, also, she should have covered the hair. I don't think you are a warm spring... I think Jessica Chastain is a warm spring...
Totally thought your were a neutral undertone 😲 did she drape it over you? What did she say? I wish you would have showcased that conversation 😔 I wish this video was much, much longer - I’ve been dying to see this video and her break down of all the contrasts of colours on you…there wasn’t a drape that she showcased that gave me that “oh wow yeah I totally see the contrast” reaction which made me wonder if you were a neutral…anyways…maybe when you’re back in Toronto you can do a more thorough follow up for us? I understand she probably couldn’t have brought all of her swatch drapes with her to Florida but I’m kinda really disappointed this video wasn’t an hour long and getting all into the details lol
I totally agree with the Warm spring. Cool colors looks disconnected on you, autumn is too heavy and drags your face down and spring is just too bright, definitely a WARM, just in the middle, toastier than spring and brighter than an autumn. Cause you wouldn't look good in the browns if u were cool toned tbh. ❤
Can’t disagree how perfectly the warm palette suits you! You’re a warm spring! 😊 Also can’t help to notice your beautiful right hand rings - would love to know where they’re from! Can you plz do a video on daily jewelry haul? ❤
Those who are saying that she is summer or autumn, don't you see the brightness and the warm glow she has? I agree that Julia declares her some season without thoroughly going through every sub-season, but the woman has a great eye for catching the exact season right away. I'm no expert; however, the brightness she got in that orange and green outfit is lovely.
That s so interesting how fashion industry changes in USA amd West Europe-Russia. On our side this typing was a trend like 5 years ago. Now nobody splits by type.
I am somewhere between soft summer and soft autumn (my undertone is fairly neutral, I can go with both color seasons pretty easily). I feel more 'at home' with soft autumn, so I usually go with that one. I have so far found and used 12-options wheel with 4 seasons divided into 3 categories - soft/bright, true and light/dark. I don't think colors chosen for Valeria (warm spring, which would be, I suppose, true spring in 12-options wheel) match her at all. Reason for the latter is that her features resemble mine a lot (hair-, eye- and skin color, contrast, undertone) and I can tell pretty certainly that she is not spring at all. Sliding between seasons is possible, but categories have to be one next to the other - which is, in my case, soft summer/soft autumn (on the color wheel they're next to each other). I would like to know what are categories in a 16-options wheel? I am confused. On another note, if warm spring was added as an 'in-between-category' makes no sense, either. If its purpose is that there is no sliding between categories, there should be added at least 12 categories - one between every two categories.
I read the comments before watching…won’t do that again because I went into this totally biased. I think we are used to seeing Valeria wear beautiful pieces in general. She’s gorgeous and nothing looks “bad”. But she’s right, the stronger colors do draw away from Valeria’s face.
Love color analysis, but not sure that this analysis was it. Valeria might be warm spring, but I’m not convinced based on julias demonstration. Obviously she’s stunning in literally everything though 😂
Aw 🫶🏻🥰 Thank you for watching! Julia already knew I was a warm spring because she did my full colour analysis in Toronto along with the rest of my team.
I am not a professional, but based on the color analysis videos I have watched before, Julia does not seem to be accurate choosing the colors. Additionally, the video is wayyy to complicated. And lastly I dont think she has chosen the right palette 🤷🏼♀️
I’m sorry but I just don’t agree with Julia. Pink and maroon are not overpowering on you! I don’t think you looked washed out in any of the pictures you showed in your “bad” colors. I think that with confidence, anyone can wear anything ❤
I think washed out is a to strong of a term. The difference is very subtle and no one really looks horrible and bad in there wrong color. It's just a little something about the eyes
Not sure where this woman trained, but not very professionally done in my opinion. She did not test a selection of individual colours for cool against warm, got there far too quick (although I think she is warm). Did not test spring against autumn with individual colours, only a selection put together in one scarf sample. Did not test to find out which sort of spring, bright, warm or light. This was really poorly done and will give lots of people the wrong idea about colour analysis too - a real analysis takes at least half an hour to conduct, much more carefully than this!
Totally hear you, colour analyst is more of a guideline to find colours that suit you, I always support wearing what you love, weather it’s in your pallet or not!
I love this video. ❤❤❤I wish I could afford to have this done. I have no idea what suits me anymore now I've had a child. I now just wear jeans and tshirts..or lost my fun me 😔
That blazer was probably suitable for light summer- which is a cool season. Sorry to say, but this lady doesn’t know what she is doing. You should definitely have this redone
I am confused... You looked amazing in every color out of your supposed palette, so I don´t get this analysis.... this is no hate, literally I didn't understand
Naah girl.. SPRING ITSELF IS WARM, THERE'S NOTHING CALLED WARM SPRING. If spring colors are too bright for you, you aren't a ✨true spring*✨ You're probably a ✨BRIGHT SPRING✨.... AND THAT FUSCHIA PINK LOOKED ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS ON YOU!!
Warm spring/autumn are used instead of true spring/autumn in some versions of the system, same with cool summer/winter. The fuchsia was nice on her because she’s a beautiful person, but the color itself was incredibly overpowering
This is a dreadful color analyst. Seasonal colors are just a layperson friendly approach to color theory, which is foundational to pretty much every form of art and design ever-but for people that don’t want to deal with the headache of color theory in full, seasonal colors are functional while being more approachable. It’s all just warmth-chroma-contrast etc.
I feel like over the past few months your videos became really boring and absolutely not interesting to watch. I don't know if you doing it on purpose, like changing your content or something, but this is just...meh. Not hating or anything, just saying
I don't understand why people are so confused by this. She says in the beginning of the video that Julia has already done the color analysis which explains why she already knew her season. I think you look wonderful! 💖
I don’t really get this color analysis. It restricts the creativity for exploring colors in fashion. Valeria looked good in most of the colors in my opinion.
Ive heard about Jullia at Russian speaking Ukrainian - jewish channel and now she is here 😀 rabbi told that he bought her services for his wife and 5 daughters
Seasonal Color Analysis is very generic and gives people the wrong colors to wear (especially rare color types, Asians, Africans, and Latinas). For example, blue hues/frequencies are dissonant with your True Color Type, Valeria. Clients come to me so frustrated with their seasonal color palette. And for color types like you, Valeria, who are not bright chroma the problem will be even more obvious - you have been recommended the wrong colors. 10 years ago, I developed a color analysis method based on science (physics and quantum physics) and Asian principles of harmony and healing (growing up with an Astrophysicist dad and artist mom in Asia) that is so much more accurate and precise, and it is custom for every person on this earth. The truth is: that there are not 4 color types as suggested by the seasonal analysis (and I won´t squeeze you in any box) but 9 billion and growing. And I don´t shy away from finding every person´s unique color type and respective colors. That is the fun part, finding the uniqueness and beauty in every person and enhancing it with very specific colors and frequencies to help them look radiant and be healthy on the outside and inside. And since I have been following your content for years now - and love everything about it! - I felt you should know and I would love to support you in elevating your style and becoming a global icon. 🧡
The color analysis woman needs to stop talking about personality and strictly talk about coloring because then her analysis is flawed and unbelievable.

That blazer was probably suitable for light summer- which is a cool season. Sorry to say, but this lady doesn’t know what she is doing. You should definitely have this redone
Personally I think winter suits you fine.
I don’t like someone to dictate my colors . I choose and wear the colors that I like and how a feel
It‘s hard because I feel like she looks good in all colours
I am confused... You looked amazing in every color out of your supposed palette, so I don´t get this analysis.... this is no hate, literally I didn't understand
All of Valeria’s outfits are in light warm colors. Warm Springs makes so much sense.
I think Valeria is a neutral. I would have guessed her a soft summer but I can also see spring as well.
The blues are not warm. This is embarrassing.
Let me guess before I watch the video- I think you are a summer?
the mmmmmmmmmmmmmm communicating understanding, so funny
Soft... autumn/summer. If she's a spring, then so am I and I am not. Lol
Naah girl.. SPRING ITSELF IS WARM, THERE'S NOTHING CALLED WARM SPRING. If spring colors are too bright for you, you aren't a ✨true spring*✨
You're probably a ✨BRIGHT SPRING✨....
I agree with Julia 100%
I always thought wear whatever colours you want just adjust your makeup
I literally cannot tell the difference of what looks good and what doesn't on her. They all look the same to me 😂
💗
Love it gorgeous angel ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Thank you so much!!
This video is the pure example why the color analyse is nonsense. 😅
This girl ain't accurate. Valeria is a summer through and through.
I think valeria know her self better 😅 she didn’t need to do this at all
I feel like over the past few months your videos became really boring and absolutely not interesting to watch. I don't know if you doing it on purpose, like changing your content or something, but this is just...meh. Not hating or anything, just saying
oh a video that you filmes 2000 years ago and now is on youtube. its so confusing
It doesn't make sense at all. And you are looking at only the colors in the Middle. And some colors are in both palette !!!! Nop
Valeria, I like you, but why you trying so hard to copy Oprah? Just be yourself!
Completely wrong imo
I was expecting her to start speaking russian because her accent is THICCCCC.
I am a woman of many talents and I can speak 3 languages fluently :)
I genuinely love that for you
