I have Medicare Advantage plan and am totally satisfied with it. I just had an open heart triple bypass surgery and did have to pay one cent. All my procedures were approved in one day. I’ve been to physical therapy twice in the last couple years, and only have to pay a five dollar co-pay which comes out of my $1900. Annual deductible. they also give me $125 towards the cost of theMedicare part B. Yes that does come down a little bit each yr. I get a prescription plan. I get chiropractor service. I get dental coverage and never pay any deductibles to see any doctor. Although this last yr. I did have to pay $75 for radiology services, but prior to that I’ve had CT scans ultrasounds MRIs and never paid anything for those services. When traveling if you have to go to an emergency room that is covered. i’ve had an HMO all my life so it doesn’t make any difference to me plus, I’m a veteran and I could still use the VA also, so it works fine for me and saves me a lot of money.
I’ve had two hip replacement surgeries and a hand surgery in one year! I had rehab with both hips. Granted, I’m a retired Federal employee, but I’m very happy with my Medicare advantage. And I have dental & vision with it. No complaints from me so far.
I'm retired at 47, This video here reminds me of my transformation from a nobody to having over 65,000 biweekly profit, a honest partner and a good daughter full of love ❤
I can still remember the exact feeling on my biggest payday in the market. Imagine taking home $407k just from 12k initial deposit. For the newbies I'll encourage anyone to embrace copytrade as the best approach especially when you're a newbie
Huge! been trying to trade on my own for a while now but it isn't going well. Few weeks ago I lost about $10,000 in a particular trade. Can you at least advise me on what to do?
People are mostly healthy...until they aren't. I am healthy right now but I know as I get older, stuff very likely will start happening. Therefore, Im willing to pay the extra for supplemental instead. I don't want to deal with copays, networks, etc.
I had the same medicare advantage PPO program for 15 years - for which I paid a premium of about 170 bucks a month. I, along with a lot of other people in my area were suddenly cutoff by the insurance company. All without anybody needing home healthcare, residential rehab, or anything at all in particular. You must understand that "they" (the insurance companies) can just do it anytime they like.
@@bobaldo2339 So your Advantage plan was discontinued? Yes, they can do that. They sometimes pull out of a market. But in that case, You have a window to get a guaranteed Issue Supplement, without medical underwriting. An Advantage plan with a premium of $170 per month is much higher than most Advantage plans. I'm guessing not many takers at that price. You could get a guaranteed Issue Supplement in most areas, for that amount of money.
My friend whose job is to advise senior's which insurance to buy.( and helps senior sold insurance issues and problems) told me DO NOT GET ADVANTAGE buy BCBS.
I quit going to pill pushing conventional dr...quit taking thyroid med 6 years ago...I'm doing fine...love my Medicare advantage plan that gives me back 3/4s of my premium on medicare...then I can go to natropatic dr of my choice instead of pill pushers.
I had a $6000 deductible on my Medicare Advantage Plan. I don’t know how that is wonderful. I also had breast cancer and a double mastectomy while on Medicare Advantage Plan. You better be sure you don’t get cancer on one of these plans.
It's great until you have a really serious medical problem & the insurance company starts rejecting things your MD orders or your md's keep leaving the plans. You get what you pay for. If you aren't paying anything for Medicare Advantage, then you can't really complain about anything, imho.
Tell the truth! You get big $$$ commissions for selling those Advantage plans. Is private insurance going to help you when the hospital doesn't accept your Advantage plans? SMH
I think Advantage plans work best for anyone who has had a public plan before retirement, like PEIA, Railroad or any pension insurance as well as low income. But please someone prove me wrong and tell me it works good for anyone not carrying public employees insurance? Because maybe I don’t understand it.
I've seen it everywhere that people love their insurance plans when they aren't using them. They have this feeling of security all out of proportion to reality. If someone tells them about a bad experience, they decide the person must somehow be at fault, because they want to believe they have a great plan. Then when they need to use the plan and it fails them, they are doubly distressed because they never thought it would happen to them.
It's all about the Benjamin's, not the care. 🤔 This is what pisses ppl off. Healthcare is a right. Medicare for all. All on, everyone pays, better care.
Medicare for all would save the American taxpayer 3 trillion dollars over ten year period according to recent studies by simply cutting out insurance companies.
But why gamble with your financial solvency. It’s not just nursing home coverage that is an issue. It’s also getting approval from a carrier for expensive medical procedures and medication. Just like with conventional health insurance. Medicare supplement coverage is not that expensive.

My wife is on Advantage. It is cheaper but Doctors keep leaving it.

You are looking great! Stunning I might add. As pretty as you are bright. Thank you for all the helpful information you’ve given us. 💕
So what would you recommend
My MIL is far from healthy at 80 and I’ve seen nothing but good from her advantage plan. I wish our employer insurance was half as good
Yes, my observation has been Advantage plans are often better than non-Medicare employer group insurance plans.

This happened to my Mom. She was discharged from a skilled nursing facility before she was able to walk again.

My brother had it and he got cancer and it didn’t pay for treatment, he died because he couldn’t afford to pay for his treatment out of pocket.
