Cool video QBert, mad respex, & big upz to the Skratch DJ, these videos are always great to utilize, especially where back in the day, veterans like yourself had to pioneer thru this, & figure it all out, & their wasnt always videos for people these days to learn from...... 👍💪🙏😎
Damn a legend that got me into turntablelist n scratch mix too the one n only DJ Q bert the grandmaster that keep doing it for years to come n mix master Mike too those two n is crew was way over there time in the 90 struggling with beat up bad made record that he came out with skiplest record so your routine come out fresh n dope cus back in the 90 down they were making bad single record hard to find a good made record I'm telling this cus I was buy mad record n I hate when they bad made with wobble that you can't scratch DJ now got it more easy they don't have to deal with that we all struggling to do our routine cus of bad made record single 😁
QBerts the fukn man!! Always a pleasure to watch & learn from one of the Godz of the Turntables.....Respex,Big Upz, & Mad Love to DJ QBert....... 👍👊💪🙏😎
I always wondered what was working the crossfader - thumb or finger. Now that I scratch hamster I know that it's a nice complimentary motion that uses both at the same time just allowing the correct amount of space for the other to move. Release and push.
He is skillfully great what I notice by changing the cross fader you can go into those scratches with less room for errors but it’s still many hours of practice but this form of switching of the Cross fade seem you can only really scratch while the beat is playing unless you train yourself to learn djing in reverse
Let's see him do what dj jazzy jeff do with the crab scratching while he's actually mixing with both turntables and both hands and jeff created the crab scratch.real talk

That custum mixer look fresh dope bro
So unbelievably fast and intricate! Nobody says more, nobody does more, in 8 bars than Q-bert does. Watch over and over again in awe!

Always awesome to watch QBert....👍💪🙏🔥🔥🔥💯💯
never ceases to amaze me... Thank you Q-Bert..
THE GRAND FUCKING MASTER. The only reason I can actually skratch is because of this Genius!!!!!!
Wes Anderson is to films as Qbert is to the turntables
He was taught by a master though !
Mix Master Mike !
Q would go and see mix Master as a kid, took it to another level we're you cannot compete with !
He seems to pull back on the downbeat a lot instead of forward. I really need to work on that skill because his drags are amazing.

I've never seen Q use anything but his "Thud Rumble" Ortofons. I'm curious what he's using on this vid.
