If being wealthy means being an a**hole, No thanks! Some of this advice, yes, others no. You don’t need to exploit ppl to be comfortable. Also wealth is overrated. It’s 2022. Wealth is in health, being supportive and kind, no debt and being able to live a content life. This is bs old school advice. You don’t see the karma of bad ppl, but trust, they do get it. Please do not go out being a mean a**hole for money. It’s not worth it. Being kind is better. Have the mindset to be innovative and create but plz this billionaire bs needs to go. We don’t care anymore. We just want health, food on our tables and to take care of our families. I’m not poor, grew 2 businesses, 1 grossing 800k last year. I found that when I became kinder, more supportive of others etc, good things flow. No one needs to be a billionaire.

I grew up in the lower-middle class, and watched my mom work two, sometimes three jobs to keep the household together. Not everyone who's poor is lazy, as was strongly implied in #10. Thankfully I wasn't told any of these statements growing up, but living on my own for the first time, I was unprepared for a lot and barely survived on my own (far away from family and support) on minimum wage. Being in poverty takes up an exorbitant amount of headspace because you're constantly wondering where the money will come from for basic necessities. Science even shows poverty physically changes the brain. It wasn't until I got a better job and could easily pay for all my needs that I realized just how much poverty had affected my peace and my ability to think clearly.

This is on point. I went from a 33k a year salary after college many moons ago (worked for w2 for 2 year only) to millions after quitting my job and starting my own businesses. Fast forward I now own multiple businesses, have multiple partnerships, help others grow their business and invest in the right people, if they need and want the help.
9 - for me I always respect my elders and others and yes I do listen to advice when it makes sense to me. If they point out a stone many trip on, I’ll make sure to go around it.
    .
10 - I don’t work on Sundays or any other day, because I love what I do- it’s more like enjoying a hobby daily and having fun. The more I help others achieve their goals (people, clients, entrepreneurs) the more blessings come my way and goals of my own I get to reach.
12- I always respected and still respect my parents- if you don’t like their rules, hustle and moved out. I did at a very young age to make my own rules.
If you are in a toxic relationship and unhappy, get out. No ifs , ands, or buts. Love yourself. Value yourself.
Best wishes, blessings and great success to all that read this.
Remember, just because you didn’t come from a wealthy family doesn’t mean a wealthy family can’t come from you.
    Great job Alux!

Not my dad but my grand dad. "Work hard and it will pay off." He didn't really add context to what that meant. He also lived in a different time. Companies became cutthroat. Well...they were always cut throat, but unions forced them to negotiate. Then everyone went along with the "if you try hard enough you will make it in life" approach. You have to stick with the times and try to stay ahead of the curve to make it. Being loyal to a company often means jack shit.

I was tot how to be poor in school by teachers and friends but I never took to their teachings!!! I always had bigger dreams of owning my own business doing Music 🎶!!! I was surrounded by fake friends who were snakes 🐍 and if you have seen the Alux videos on fake friends and on people that are snakes tells you exactly the dynamics of the type of people I knew in my past!!! Yeah every time I mention starting my own business they would always tell me that I need something to fall back on and they said that I could never achieve anything in a round about way!!! Being poor tot me how to be poor!!! In my case being poor is a cycle!!! Yeah I’m poor and needed start up money 💰 in order to start my business and so I needed a job, and when I got the jobs it was never 👎 enough money to start my business!!! I capable of holding down jobs but I still will lose jobs because of other people decisions and so I back at square one always in need of start up money 💰!!! And this was my cycle!!! I knew at the age sixteen that I would never become Rich 🤑 working for someone else even though some people have!!! There is so much I can say but I will end with this! For my first thirty five years of my lifetime I was broke and have been poor for the last nine years!!! I recognize all fifteen in poor Advice given!!!

When I left to teach in China in 2018, my dad told me to quit translating the journal I still translate and focus exclusively on my job in China. I didn't. The job in China went horribly wrong and I returned 3 months and 3 weeks later. During the pandemic I was teaching and translating more than ever before. I teach English myself now (founded my company) and still earn extra translating that journal.

Good advice except the one about listening to your elders. There are core strategies and priciples that can only be learned with age. Wisdom can come from any age group but especially those with a lifetime of experience. I get your point about changing times, but perhaps you can do a whole video explaining the difference between wisdom and out of touch babble. Thanks!

I think there are exceptions to every rule, but I would say, in general, Alux is right on this one, IMHO. As early as 12 years old I knew elderly people were giving antiquated advice that I would never implement in my life. Additionally, most of the advice was judgmental, based on superstition and not science, homophobic, rooted in guilt and fear from religious indoctrination, etc.

While I agree with most of what’s presented in this video, it becomes evident that the authors know nothing about the value of education and religion. Instagram celebrities, for the most part, live a meaningless life that leads to depression and anxiety. It’s ok, they will find their refuge in religion or spirituality. In fact, research shows (education teaches you how to conduct and understand research studies, fyi) that spiritual and religious people are happier than non-religious.
Anyway, use your critical thinking when watching these videos. It’s just a tool, another price of info to consider.

    3. It can be good at the begginig IMO, but after you earn thousands and thousands every month it's pointles.
    4. Lol, my dad is that "all rich people are evil" guy. I always think to my self. "Yeah. That like 8 y. o. kid on RUclips that earns milions by unboxing toys is definitely disgusting monster. Sure."
    7. My dad once more.
    9. This can be actually useful. But only in very limited extent (as you described).
    10. Yeah, it might be Lords day to rest. But because I don't believe in any god, nor I am god I don't care, dad. And mom has alteration "Don't be so hard on yourself."
    11. This time it's amazingly my dad's, but my mom's statement.
    14. And now both of my parents's (i guess it's wrong, sorry, not my first language) statement.
Ok, now seriously. My parents are fantastic parents. They did and still do everything for me and my brothers. Also I have inborn lungs malfunction, so they are very overprotective of me, so 14 is more understandable, than others. I mean all of them are, cause that's what their parents told them and we live in ex-communist country (and they were born in it) so all this info became available only recently. But these statements are holding me back. And that's where you, Alux and similar projects and people, step in. So this is basicaly something like expression of my gratitude. 😀 Thank you Alux fam.

7:20 listen to your elders. Applicable before the information age. All aspects of life have changed. You must adapt to the current situation.7:49 put other first _ however the truth is people will take advantage of you. (I learned that the hard way). 9:35 self limiting beliefs. You were given some bad programs by your family, and the early teachers. 11:00 do not stick with some thing just because it is familiar. 12:38 better safe than sorry. This is just plain bad advice. Playing it safe will lead you to be 'sorry'. There is unlimited abundance in the world.. 13:35 you have been programmed to believe life is a zero sum game. If you win some else must lose. WRONG. There is more than one (1) pie in the world. TRUE. 14:00 nobody is coming to save you. The road to success _ solve other people problems. Become a SME.

I’m a Christian and I have made more money than all of the Alux group combined. The Bible doesn’t say that money is evil, it says the LOVE of money is the root of all evil. There are plenty of extremely rich people in the Bible that were God’s people. Also Sunday isn’t the Lord’s Day unless the pope is your lord. The Bible says that the 7th day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God. The Seventh Day is what we call as Friday at sunset until Saturday at sunset. Isaiah 58:13,; Mark 2:27,28,;Matthew 12:7. Anyway religion doesn’t hold you back if you have a correct understanding of the one true religion. Alux keeps going down by attacking Christian beliefs.
