      Reach out to Warrior and let them know you want a Warrior set to be reviewed!

    hey man love your videos... I can’t get to decide between Bauer 2s/2x or Brian’s Optik or GnetikIV for my next set ... are the Bauer gloves easily broken in game ready. Gnetik4 glove os crazy easy to use out of the box. I’m coming from ccm eflex and wanted to use a stiffer pad but I’m kinda scared to make the full jump to 2s ... help me lol. And do you prefer Brian’s Boa system or Bauer classic nylon strap

      Thanks for the kind words.
      The Bauer gloves are not bad stock, but nothing is close to the Gnetik IV. I'll have a review for that in the coming weeks but it is simply the easiest closing glove by far my pro palm compares to other companies game ready.
      2S/2X would be a big jump from Eflex imo. But not necessarily a bad one, you just have to know what you are getting into and know exactly what you want. My Optiks/Gnetiks are nowhere near as stiff as Bauer pads but if I don't ever squish them down they still stand pretty straight and work for me.
      I don't like the boa as I always have to crank it to make it feel like it is staying on my hand, then I have to undo it to get it off. I felt pressure points for the boa pieces on the Optik blocker as well. With normal straps I can keep them tight enough where I can still slide my hand in and out without having to undo them and without the glove feeling like it will slide off.

      I meant they are not bad stock! Autocorrect got me there.

      simon demelo I’m thinking of getting 2x or 2s pros from ccm eflex3, how different are the 2xs and how’s the stiffness?

    Solid video.. do you prefer to play forward, defenseman, or goalie?

    • @HockeyReviews
      @HockeyReviews  5 лет назад +2

      Thanks for watching! It all depends on the level of play and the type of hockey. I generally don't enjoy shinny as a goalie and am a much better goalie than player so the faster the game the more likely I'll enjoy being in net.
      I prefer D as I don't have an offensive bone in my body, I'm also very good at blocking shots haha.

    Did you go out and get the 2S demo set again or have you somehow had it this entire time?

    I cant desside if i want to go with rhe supreme or vapor line... im verry curious tu play with stiffer pad. Now im using ccm 4.5 and i play dek hockey. My problem is that i am not flexcible so im having hard time to do wide butterfly and close de gap... im looking for the pads with the best angle to help me closing the gab when butterfly... alsomi red that vapor line is more for hybrid golie that like to play sand up as much as butterfly and the supreme line is more for goalie that go butterfly every shot wich is my case so should i go with the m5 or the 3x ????? Thanks

      No pads no are really made for "stand up" shots, there are just stiffer and softer pads.
      If you are playing Dek hockey, I would STRONGLY consider looking at ReasonY pads. Which are made specifically for ball hockey and are custom at a similar price (and will slide WAY better) than any ice pads. Plus you can see how they are flexible enough at the top to help with narrow butterfly.

    Is there more of a curve in the 2X compared to the 2S?

    • @HockeyReviews
      @HockeyReviews  5 лет назад

      Not unless you curve it yourself. The both stand pretty straight.

      The 2x pro has a double internal break but I found them stiff with very little curve - I also found the knee stacks were smaller than, say, Warriors - If you are flexible and agile, you may love these pads. However, I found that with my narrow butterfly, it was very difficult to close the 5 hole

    I'm just gonna keep nagging you about the full Passau review. I mean that in an excited way, as opposed to ungrateful.

      I haven't been on the ice since April 8th! I unfortunately can't do a full review gear I can't use :(

      @@HockeyReviews nah, it's cool. I'm just a Passau fanboy. I bought a pair of pads new from them a few years ago and I love them, but they're starting to wear, so I'm thinking about getting a new set.
