Kryzys klimatyczny to realne zagrożenie. Myśl, że niedługo zmieni on całkowicie nasze życie i planetę jest przytłaczająca. Musimy radzić sobie z gniewem i frustracją, które rodzą się w obliczu cynizmu klasy rządzącej.
W naszym projekcie zmieniłyśmy fragmenty popularnych piosenek tak, żeby pomogły nam wyrazić te emocje. Hity, które słyszymy w radiu często opowiadają o złamanym sercu. Wystarczy tylko mała interwencja, żeby nagle stały się protest songami pomagającymi nam dźwigać ciężar naszych czasów. Przechwytujemy muzykę należącą do skomercjalizowanej, kapitalistycznej kultury, aby wyrazić nasz kolektywny gniew i popłakać wspólnie z Planetą Ziemią.

The climate crisis is real and the fact that soon it will change our lives and our entire planet is overwhelming. We have to deal with anger and frustration when faced with the cynicism of the ruling class.
In our project, we have changed parts of the lyrics of popular songs so that they can help us cope with all these emotions. Hits that we hear on the radio usually tell about broken heart. Only a slight intervention, and they suddenly become protest songs that can help us handle the burden of our times. We reclaim the music that belongs to the commercialised, capitalist culture to give voice to our collective anger and shed our tears together with the Earth.
