i'm trying to translate this to another language that has grammatical genders and differentiates between singular and plural forms of third person (thou / you) and thus i have a question: how should i translate the "you" in the song? is it intended to be a single person? does their gender matter? is something of that changing through the "story"? the plot is quite hard to follow, it's chaotic and unclean, maybe it's just because my knowledge of english isn't good enough.
