You know what, I respect a game that says "you think you know words better than the people who made a game about words??? okay fine but please don't cheat 🥺"
Hi! Dev is here! Thank you for playing. Why did not you click a possible word at the top of the screen? The tip was showed almost each turn lol. You can place the whole word with just one click. This way you don't need to drag tiles. It's much faster.
At first I was really not a fan of the Gacha Life-esque artstyle but it grew on me. Still wish there was more dynamic idle animations, or at least something more than just standing there making a :0 face
Wait, is gaucho something else? It's a term for the people of the south here in Brazil. Anyways, gonna be cool to watch this, might actually learn a few new words too (and things that really should be words but aren't). The "add in words" mechanic reminds me of "Kraft's Adventure", the game you did an Indie Taste Test on a few weeks ago, where you can add in new recipes if you think they should exist. Also, I forgot to vote on that video, but I really would love if you did a few episodes on that game, it's not the next Isaac, but it's good.
Enemy: (he atacks you for 200 damage) Me: NO YOU [Enemy has been destroyed] Btw i havent watched the video yet so i thought it would ended up like this. Sadly it didnt cause its funny 😂
@@MythicMachina Yeah. I'm not a native speaker. I've never played English word games. And my English is not great. Actually I tried to make a game that uses letters as a resource. Mechanically during the battle it's Dicey Dungeons with more complex synergies. During market analysis I found Letter Quest and Spellspire only. Bookworm was removed from Steam and I didn't found it. I've only heard about Bookworm Adventures in the comments under Retromation's video with my game.

Chink is also a word for "gap" like "a chink in his armor" is the common usage of it. It's not just a slur lol.
I heard the words scrabble and deckbuilding and it was instant pogging in my brain. Had to stop and write this, Now im gonna watch the video.
A vicuna is an animal that's basically a type of llama. They're in the camel family.

I swear I clicked the words up there several times lol
@@OlexaYT we both know you can't read anyway
It is impressive I ignored the tip on the screen that long though
You may want to go through and remove slurs! Great game tho
i think there is something wierdly satisfying by doing it manually. Anyway, interesting feedback for you as a developer, huh?
Slay the Bookworm Adventures 😳
The unending quest for Tyler to use Gaucho in a play
Lmao it will happen
14:29 if it makes you feel better, that word is also what a crack, splinter, or fault in a shield or armor is called?
Can we get some prayers out for Timmy?

Slay the scribe
I knew the game is based on The Bookworm Adventure.
It's not. The game was inspired by Slay the Spire and Dicey Dungeons only.
@@anatoliynikitin832 Wait, so you happened to make a game that's super similar to Bookworm Adventure by complete accident?
