The V60 is a true hidden gem which has been overlooked at least in the USA, by customers in the market for this type of vehicle. I'd go with the regular V60 unless you drive in slippery winter weather, the value is excellent and of course the seats are probably the very best in the entire automotive industry with the exception of SAAB. Yes, they are STILL manufacturing cars (the 9-3) in Sweden right now, but not possible to buy a new one in the US currently.
Jeremy James I also would like finding more european cars, and the DS 5 and the Peugeot 508 are very good ideas, but Kyle very rarely move to Europe. But what I also think, is Peugeot and Citroen should export their cars to the US.

I will forever love that I5! I wish MPG was not such a popular fad amongst today’s society! Otherwise, we’d still have this engine. The new Drive-E powertrains are quite peppy and do not disappoint in terms of performance, but they do not stack up to the engine/exhaust note of the I5. The I5 has such a unique and distinct sound. But, times do change and I’m glad Volvo developed impressive replacements to their legendary 5 cylinder! We had 2 Volvo’s with the I5 (still own one) and have 2 currently with the Drive-E. My sister’s V60 has the T5 Drive-E while my father’s XC60 Ocean Race Edition has the T6 Drive-E.
Volvo's are so underrated. It's a shame that MB, BMW and Audi owners are so blindly loyal towards the brands they drive without seeing what the Swedish offer because they're solid cars. Heck my neighbor had a 2007 MB GL450 that was falling apart when it was 5 years old and he decided to trade it on another one despite getting horrible service from the dealership. Volvo's have great ride/handling and rock solid build quality. Little bit of a pain to work under the hood but Google is your friend.
***** You know a good test for me is if you've driven the car for a while and You don't even have to really look down to press a button ( you just know where it is) then that's a good placement design, I've always felt , thanks for another great video.
cobra454tim That's exactly what I do in our volvo. The buttons are pretty straight forward you know, and more important: it's well designed. I rather have a 'many buttons good design' center console than a poorly designed center console with not much buttons :P. That being said, all new volvo's will probably get a touch screen sooner or later like the new XC90 so..
You do such great reviews that I ALWAYS enjoy - and you give us enough information that we can make a fairly well informed decision about an automobile. Your insistence on "gunning the motor" is the only annoying part of the reviews. And running the engine at a higher rpm does not come across on the youtube very well (with the exception of the Lamborghini and the Fiat Abarth!) it makes it sound like a bucket of bolts especially when you are at the engine bay. I am happy to watch your reviews and look forward to them, "boy racer" aside I will watch them all!!
I know this will be a very hard task, but how about you do a Yugo? You might have to go out of state to get your hands on one, but I'm sure that a video with a Yugo would be HILARIOUS!!! :D
What about interior quality? Dashboard material for an example or doors? I am an Acura TSX Sportwagon owner and too bad they dropped the wagon segment. Searching for a replacement in 2 years and Volvo seems the natural option budget wise and for its product quality. Didn't noticed your comments on interior quality besides the nice seats.
Would love to see a review of the new XC90. I really think they hit a home run with the new design because it's absolutely gorgeous and I wasn't very fond of the old design. I have yet to see one on the road in Sweden though. Are you planning on doing a XC90 review? *****

Jonathan DiLego Probably because you have to have thousands of subscribers and really good content... they don't just let any nobody with a camera and a RUclips account drive a Jag for a video.
I envy you Americans so bad. You get the lovely T5 - 2.5l, 5 cylinder with AWD. The T5 we get in Sweden is 2.0l, 4 cylinder with front wheel drive only........ The biggest engine we get if we want AWD is the D4 2,4l, 5 cylinder 190hp Diesel engine. It's nice, but I like Petrol !!!! :'(
+Justin Joseph its a press car registered in NJ, kyle normally doesnt travel to do his videos unless it is a press launch for a pre production vehicle.
To my taste, the dual air vent design in the center console is ugly. But apart from that, build quality in the interior looks top notch. Probably on par with Audi, and even slightly above BMW.
As a Swedish person this makes me happy to see that you're doing reviews of newer Volvo cars.
