I think people have a bias just because spinosaurus itself is what the family is named after, and because it's so weird all of the conversation ends up being about the semi aquatic enormous heron crocodile of the bunch. Even though the others probably actually lived similarly.

Its only nizar ibrahim's discovery of such a complete neotype that turned it on its head.

Animals where the only fossils we have of them are lower jaws and and teeth shouldn't get to count for taxonomic mess, because teeth and jaws are often fairly evolutionarily plastic and convergence runs rampant there.
