    Love how many cheap guitars come with binding but new Fenders dont until you pass the $1k mark. And Im a fan of binding.

    Ok so it's got a laminated top. So has a Gibson 335/339. It's a top loader. Like a Les Paul? It has a Tone control, so you can change the sound (and your amp has EQ). Intonation is a myth - you bend it out of tune when you fret strings. Why so picky, just because it don't have a top Brand name on it?

    • @JayceAllanGuitar
      @JayceAllanGuitar  2 месяца назад +3

      Ah, with all due respect. Intonation is not a myth. If it isn’t properly intonated you’ll never be in tune. I just did a setup on that Squier Debut I did a review on and it was not intonated. I did a complete setup on it and it sounds great. I don’t have a problem with these cheap guitars but you will need to do a minimum of setup on them.

    I would Like to see someone. Review These Strats and Teles side by side with Mexican Fenders. and play them to See what you Really get for $700. More . 100. vs. 800. Guitars. Not 700. Worth Difference . This Probably Sounds Realy Good with a Petal Board . Yeah put new Tuners on it and yeah. the headstock should be Redesigned to look beter. You could use some touch up paint in the F hole and its not a Deal breaker the way it is. I Bought 2. Gearit Strats and it was a Steal. They are Good.

    • @JayceAllanGuitar
      @JayceAllanGuitar  2 месяца назад +1

      That's my goal. My first purchase is going to be a Yamaha Pacifica because I had someone comment that the Pacifica would blow the Debut out of the water, so I want to do that comparison, then the MIM, then a USA made strat. I want to review an actual Gibson LP but the price tag on those is so high. I'll need to find one used, but I always fear I'll end up with a fake.

      @@JayceAllanGuitar Yeah - A medium or High Grad Harley Benton LP. is Good Enough -- the Gibson Won't Look or Sound any Different. If you find a used MIM. tele and compare I doubt u will like it more with the exception of the Ugly Headstock. I like the P90 neck and Splitable Coil Humbucker set up on the GearIT . It will Rage compared to the Thin sounding traditional Tele. The Stainless rounded frets are hard to beat . Off Course the $1200. American Fender will be nice but not 10 X. Better. Fender has been Gouging us for decades. I buy Used Only except for Harley Benton and GearIT. and a Volgoa Superstrat I got on Amazon which was nice fo 199.

      I mostly bought used too, until my first RUclips channel took off, now I have a fairly decent disposable income from that channel to buy gear for this channel. Plus I sell gear on Reverb when I'm "done" with it.

    I first got just a plain white one no electronics and after 3-5 months and one string change it is great. The second one was Vangoa Advanced 12 string natural front. After 2 months and no string change (too scared to do string change) it has been great. It sits out like all my guitars and has no real problems except it needs to be fine tuned every 5 songs or so.

    I paid $129 for mine in January, and I love it. Some have string buzzes, mine was the D string. Mine came with only 1 string tree, adding another didn't fix the buzz. I put a set of Musiclily brass barrel saddles (6) on it and the buzz is gone. I have intonated it and lowered the action; the neck plays great. I love the ss frets. The neck has a very flat radius, greater than 20" and plays fast for me. The only thing I plan to change now is to put a better pickup in the bridge. I've been playing it more than my Schecter, Gretch or the others in my collection. Here's what it sounds like with gain-stacking: ruclips.net/video/J2dWpXzF6C8/видео.html

    All set ups are subjective.. how about a before and after and then talk about what adjustments you made instead of bashing the thing from the word go? It's not a Pro series guitar at that price point

    • @JayceAllanGuitar
      @JayceAllanGuitar  2 месяца назад

      I didn't think I was bashing it. It definitely needs work, and the point of the video is to show people what they can expect if they buy one. Some people may not have any experience with doing their own setup. And not all setups are subjective. String height yes, but a guitar that isn't properly intonated can be unplayable. No, I definitely didn't bash the guitar from "the word go". And I am working on a video that shows setup.

    Tune it and intonate BEFORE you start playing next time. Hard to focus on tone when the playing is awful.

      @JayceAllanGuitar  2 месяца назад

      Problem is, if I do that, people won't know what to expect when they purchase one of these. The point of playing it right out of the box is so people see any issues they may have, and this guitar has issues.

      It's very easy to blame "The Chinese" or even the consumer for this, but the problem is way more complicated and started a long time ago. Also, do a Google search for videos of the Corona California Fender plant, you'll see lots of immigrant labor, being paid $16 to $18 an hour to do finish sanding on a neck or body. Everything is done by CNC. Humans do final assembly and setup. Executives at Fender make 6 figures. So, pretty easy to scape goat people for a problem created by greedy corporations.

    It's a poor craftsman who blames his tools. I've owned all manner and brands of Teles including Boogie Bodies, Fender USA, MIJ, CIJ and more, but I absolutely adore my GEARIT. Oh, and I have no friggin' idea how to pronounce it either. Who TF cares anyway?
