Why should we avoid beginning with question number 1?

Because is the trickiest of all the questions and you might end up spending a lot of time on that question.
Always you will be given minimum of 3 numbers say, Q1 a, b & c. A & B will be very easy on your eyes and marks allocated will be very few, then boom part C, say out of 20 marks part C might have say like 14 or 12 marks.
