@@loetzcollector466 I love to see other countries that are American car enthusiasts as well. Brazil has some cool cars like the Bianco S. A local california collector has one. The VW SP2 was also built in Brazil and the Puma GT(E) looks like a Brazilian 240Z 🇧🇷 🚙

I work in a hotel in the area and i was wondering why our rates were so high and sold out. Now I know why. Excellent cars and great footage 👍

About 35 years ago a Mercedes 500K roadster was discovered in Walsall, West Midlands belonging to a local butcher. He had inherited it from an Aunt and it had languished in a garage for decades. It was in need of restoration but complete in every detail. He parted with it to a car dealer who gave him £150K At auction the car fetched half a million, so it makes me wonder how much the winner this year is worth. Well and truly a multi million dollar car no doubt.
Amazing find! Barn and garage funds are becoming rarer and rarer as the values have increased considerably. Most of these 500/540k Roadsters sell privately (especially the more expensive ones), so it’s difficult to put an exact number on it. The buyers have blank check money and one thing is for sure, winning the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance only raises the already robust value. Kentucky Derby winning race horse pedigree 😎

1930 RR Phantom (27:20) with a built-in expresso machine probably worth more than my house. I'm talking about the Expresso machine only. The car is more like 10x my house. Love the content - great quality video!

Here’s a smaller concours from earlier this year in La Jolla in case you haven’t seen it. There were 17 Duesenbergs in attendance, which is incredible for any concours!

Wow, thanks for video. YT suggested this to me as I have been watching a lot of stuff of car week. This is by far the best so far. You showed all types and styles of cars. Most are young kids showing hyper cars that only the rich can afford. Well only the rich can afford a lot of this video also. lol

Amazing collection of exotica. Loved it but what a shame there were no close-ups of 1920s Bentleys - I think I saw one in the distance - for me they are the supreme automobiles of that age.

It would be a refreshing change if they would give a Best of Show to that Ghia Cadillac, or something like it, rather than to yet another pre-war car, especially a 1938 Mercedes. I was there at Pebble on Sunday. Don't see myself in this video.
Pre-war seems to get chosen over post war most years. And black cars. Hope you had a great time! I’ll try to film you next time 😂
By my standards 50% of cars I saw in this video deserved an award, I don’t know how judging works and why some cars or chosen over other
@@olasek7972 being a Concours judge is the most difficult job in the world. The judges do have favorites, but exceptional cars stand out for their provenance and quality.

Not to sound too critical, but that collection of off key musicians hired for the event sounded terrible. The most prestigious automotive exhibition of the world and they went cheap. Mariachi bands at Mexican funerals sound better.
I’d love to see a mariachi band at a future concours! That would be amazing 🤠
