- Anohana is a show that I have heard about since the start of my anime viewing career. It's named as the best show to cry to by many people, and as the number one most manly man in the world, I had to give it a shot. It was mid.
I disagree, but I do think there is something to be said about going into it with the impossible-to-meet expectations that you had from everyone hyping this show up to be the "saddest thing ever". That's not what it is. It's a beautiful story about friendship, love and loss, and the meaning of growing up. Those who truly resonate with this anime cry not because it's sad, but because it's so deeply human.
I too felt weird about it, my emotions said 10/10 but man I couldnt give it more then 8 or 7/10 fr fr.
I think my main issue is lack of character development, it just feels like we're going through the motions of story telling and not getting character development much xd
Dude, it's alright. There are things to like about this show, but I agree. The last episode was very beautiful and emotional, but everything before that felt really long and uninteresting. If fans like Anohana, that's perfectly okay, but it wasn't for me either.

til now tho, the recap reminded me kind of but the inbetween stuff i do NOT remember
It is pretty forgettable imo, no offense to people that love it. Just not my thing

I don't know what happend. I usually love cry porn but listen...it got on my nerves more than anything and at the place where I should have cried? I was like thank goodness. All of the characters sucked to me....respectfully please don't murder me 😂
