● Gyutaro and Daki take up one character slot instead of two. It seems like they're the only demons who can fight with each other on a team, but they trade out the use of their demon skills as a result.

From what I saw, when Gyutaro is on field, Daki assists will perform her demon skill(she lays her trap once). Same for when Daki is onfield, it appears Gyutaro uses his projectiles
I like gyu as his own character with his other moves

@@ClarkHamilton-y9e Making DLC for a 4 year old game is way more milking than creating an actual sequel that implements all of the DLC characters from the first game along with new ones, new story content and updates to the gameplay.
If you think about it the developers maybe don't even play the game, just test it for showing, much artists don't like to enjoy their own work when they're resting
Man , I love the gameplay of Muichiro and Mitsuri. The colours/techniques are so much more vibrant and flashy than the anime and is what I expected from SSV arc, welp.
Hinokami Chronicles 2 HUD is really awesome and the gameplay is peak upgrade.

@@zetsumaro2003 it's a CC2 thing, mostly every storm game is the same(with small changes each sequel) but people that actually play the game to the point they know the animations and gameplay by heart could tell the difference in the changes. Like I can tell the difference between storm 2 and storm 3's changes just off gameplay alone but in a side glance it looks the same 💀

From the looks of it, only one demon skill will be usable from each character. Gyotaro was using flying blood sickles as an assist. As for Daki i hope it’s her traps so that Gyotaro can have better access to blue combos. But the other assist is just a special move.
Hopefully they will retain their solo versions, but if not, it’s gonna be tough to say whether if it was for better or worse.
If they do the same thing for Susumaru and the arrow dude, she can have access to blue combos as well but lose her big damage combos. Arrow dude will just be straight nerfed.
I do wish anime games were less just "Arena fighters" open world, rpg's... Etc, hopefully the story mode is better this time, cause it was a choooooooore

So they're using Gyokko's final form instead of making it an awakening? Makes sense. Don't know how he'd fight using his pot body
There are plenty of ways for him to fight using that pot body. It's just comes down to whether or not the game development team has the skill to do it , or if they care enough to do it. In CC2's case ,they don't

(the opponent can destroy the pot which has a medium healthbar)
and then gyokko can teleport between the pots

About Daki and Gyutaro: I feel like Daki is not worthy of being a single character, but Gyutaro hs capability to be be stand-alone. I think the best cenario is to have a Daki/Gyutaro character and a solo Gyutaro character also. Just like Yara on The Last of Us Part II Remastered, she comes with Lev and you can also play Lev alone.

This is DLC 😂 nobody hate that we’re getting more content but they could’ve expanded on the old product cuz barely anything changed. Unless there added entirely new mechanics there was no point of another $60 title. And unfortunately everybody is going to buy because they want to experience online before the game inevitably falls off again. Great game they were better off expanding and charging like 30-40

Just like every new game in the storm series Lil Bit different little bit the same, the only thing we know for certain is different right now is they have Team ultimates now
Well more characters new selection screen better graphics and a new health bar but that’s just so far it was confirmed that all the hashira are gonna be playable

I’m going to assume that the temari demon isn’t going to be playable as she was the main reason the first game died i would also imagine if she is in game she’s severely downplayed or has some type of cooldown possibly because it’s almost impossible to close in on here in hkc1

I have to admit that I'm a bit disappointed. Yeah those kind of games works like that but at least implement some new mechanics or more special moves for each character it would help the fresh content but it's literally the same game and it will cost 70$, not worth it at the moment

They ARE adding new stuff, the whole point of the sequel is they're playing catch-up because the first game only only touch the first season and movie. We just don't know everything. This is literally every single storm game of course they reuse assets

The combo system is the same and that's fair I never expected to see it changed at the base, it's balanced and it works. But at least in the awakening a whole new moveset or bunch of special moves, they even awaken the mark and nothing change. Aside the team ultimates ther's nothing new

Not after the updates unfortunately. The vanishing attacks were removed from rush specials, they nerfed special damage multipliers, they made combo damage reduction way too egregious, and certain skill abilities that are supposed to buff damage don't work at all.
Those are just a few of the issues that ruin the game after the recent updates
There’s more freedom to walk around , this actually way better , it’s more like storm and less like street fighter if tht makes sense
