Hello from Japan🙋♀️ I am also a big fan of Medaka and I had the world first Medaka exhibition last month. I export them to the world. I would like to visit this video’s farm. I love to communicate everyone who loves Medaka anytime ❤
Another Awesome video my brada and Got to Agree Medaka-Lair Jackson is The Ichi-ban breeder in the USA & his New Munchies is Also Ichi-Ban in my books. Can’t wait 4 part 2!! Mahalo’s & Aloha Brada Mel 🌴🤙
Hey Mate a Monday Lunchtime video down here today👍. Always cool to have a look around The Medaka Lair your man Jackson has got it going. Love the diferent strains that he is working with. Loved the Black ones never seen them before great little fish👍. Hope to see more on these. Anyway cool video as always. Good onya Mate👍👍🙂.
I am so jealous. Medaka are one of my top 3 favorite fish. I’m hoping you got some of the solid black ones. Orichi? Maybe? I wonder if they are viewed like the black koi, good luck charms? Anyway, Jackson has some incredible koi, so glad you took us along. 🤟🏼🤙🏼
Love the video but sad to see at the same time. I lost my medaka colony about 10 days ago when the aftermath of Hurricane Debby all but destroyed my back yard ponds. Talk about a kick in the gut. =\
Thank you for the advice but I would disagree. I've never noticed snails eating eggs in the years I've been keeping medaka. In fact I find them very beneficial. The snails eat all the leftover uneaten food and muck in the tub and also help out by taking care of the ones that don't make it when I don't notice them. Now it might depend on type of snail but with the ramshorn and bladder snails I have I don't worry. ✌🏼
Yes I know the job the snails do and I guess it's regarding the kind of snails you have in tubs, I've heard about it in other channels is better being sure. Oh I love your Madaka rice fish, your a fantastic breeder.
My question is not related to this video but to your old above ground pond with bog filter. I have a 500 gallonish above ground pond and I keep going through filters like candy I can't afford that I need something that is permanent I'm disabled so throwing away money on these filters is hard for me. You had nothing else on that pond to keep it clean just the bog filter with those plants? I have watched the videos a couple times and didn't see anything but just wanted to ask. Where did you get the bags for milk crates?
Almost Guppies enjoyed the video your oldest fan, Thanks for Sharing ❤🥰🐾🐾

Thank you coming by and hanging out brother. Always a good time. More then welcome around the Lair anytime 💪🏻💪🏻🤙🏻

It's very important for Jackson to remove the snails from tubs, they'll eat the Medaka eggs. They're studding!

I had Mountain tree spiral filter Mats first to help filter the water then it went into the bog, I got the bags on eBay Pond Media Bags 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Can we buy the Mountain Tree media in the US?
Yes there’s an email in the description so you can!🤙🏽🫶🏽💯
Does he sell and ship his madaka?
Sure does!!!!!!!!♥️🤙🏽
